Report: IDF Eliminates Senior Hamas Commander Amid Repeated Ceasefire Violations in Gaza

The slain terrorist headed “supplies of Hamas’s weapons manufacturing plant in Gaza City.”

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday eliminated Abdullah Al-Hudaydi, a senior commander of Hamas’s so-called military wing, Israeli and Arab media outlets say.

The slain terrorist was the “head of supplies of Hamas’s weapons manufacturing plant in Gaza City,” Israel’s i24NEWS TV channel reported, quoting government officials.

According to Israeli news reports, the IDF hasn’t yet confirmed the elimination of the Hamas commander. The military, however, acknowledged carrying out retaliatory strikes against Hamas after repeated ceasefire violations by the terrorist group.

“The Israeli military said a gunman had crossed into Israeli-held territory in Gaza and exploited “the humanitarian road in the area through which humanitarian aid enters southern Gaza”, calling it a “blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” Reuters reported on Saturday.

A Hamas terror cell of around 15 operatives tried to attack Israeli troops inside the ceasefire line near Rafah, southern Gaza, Legal Insurrection reported on Friday. The IDF foiled the sneak attack, which was carried out using terror tunnels, eliminating six terrorists and capturing several others.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

An IDF strike killed Abu Abdullah Al-Hudaydi, the Operations Staff Commander of the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades, in Gaza on Saturday, Arabic sources told the Saudi state-owned Al Arabiya.

The Qassam Brigades are the so-called “military” wing of Hamas. While the IDF has not yet confirmed the report, Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry reported that four people were killed and others were wounded in an IDF strike in Gaza City.

Witnesses and medics told Reuters the strike occured in the Rimal neighborhood and set a vehicle ablaze.

Israel informed U.S. observers of the strike. “Israel updated the US-led oversight mechanism before the strike against the Hamas commander was carried out, The Times of Israel has learned,” The Times of Israel reported.

Ahead of the strike, the IDF disclosed the details of a terror attack on Israeli troops who were “deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.” After the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire came into effect on October 10, the IDF withdrew to the agreed Yellow Line. Hamas has repeatedly violated the truce by carrying out attacks on Israeli troops inside the ceasefire line.

On Saturday, “an armed terrorist crossed the yellow line, exploiting the humanitarian road in the area through which humanitarian aid enters southern Gaza,” the Israeli military said in a statement. ” The terrorist fired at IDF soldiers deployed in the southern Gaza Strip. No IDF injuries were reported. The soldiers eliminated the terrorist.”

“In response, the IDF, guided by the ISA, began striking Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip,” the statement added.

These kool aid drinking bitter enders of Hamas should take the L and haul ass somewhere else. I would encourage Israel to refuse to stop combat operations until Hamas publicly and unconditionally surrenders. Every day Hamas refuses then ramp up the scale of operations and if they haven’t surrendered by the time it gets to firebombing and pushing the rubble out into the Med to create a jetty that’s on Hamas.

Hamas: those wacky guys who never miss an opportunity…to miss an opportunity.
