Rep. Gill Introduces Impeachment Articles Against Judge Boasberg

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) has introduced articles of impeachment against U.S. District Judge James Boasberg due to his role in the Arctic Frost investigation.
Boasberg has never hidden his feelings for President Donald Trump, so it shouldn’t shock anyone that his name appeared in the Arctic Frost investigation.
Gill spoke to Fox News Digital:
“Chief Judge Boasberg has compromised the impartiality of the judiciary and created a constitutional crisis. He is shamelessly weaponizing his power against his political opponents, including Republican members of Congress who are faithfully serving the American people within their jurisdiction,” Gill told Fox News Digital.
“Judge Boasberg was an accomplice in the egregious Arctic Frost scandal where he equipped the Biden DOJ to spy on Republican senators. His lack of integrity makes him clearly unfit for the gavel. I am proud to once again introduce articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg to hold him accountable for his high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed that Boasberg signed the subpoenas requested by Special Counsel Jack Smith to tap phones of Republican senators and organizations.
Boasberg told AT&T not to tell Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). Cruz told the media last week:
Judge Boasberg issued an order to AT&T, and signed that order prohibiting AT&T from informing me of this subpoena for at least one year. And Judge Boasberg gave the basis for that order, and I quote from the order Judge Boasberg signed, “the court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.”
That’s an order a judge signed. Now I can tell you right now there is precisely zero evidence to conclude that I am likely to destroy or tamper with evidence or to intimidate potential witnesses. Zero evidentiary basis for that, this order is an abuse of power. This order is a weaponized legal system.

We need national judicial reform and removal of many of these bad judges
Nothing will come of this. He may be impeached in the house but it takes 60 votes in the Senate to remove him from office and there is no way on Earth that will happen.
A better (meaning less symbolic) move would be to pass something (with 51 votes in each house) that created a 3-strikes policy for federal judges. Strikes could be assigned by higher courts or by Congress. And when a judge accumulates 3 strikes, they are automatically said to no longer be “on good behavior” (the standard the constitution states for judges to remain on the bench) and removed.
Maybe this isn’t a perfect plan but merely impeaching him when you know he will remain on the bench is a horrible plan!

He was supposed to uphold the constitution of the United States but failed to do so. Now let the full weight of the constitutional remedy come down on him. Even if not convicted he will be exposed nationally

He can be impeached by the House, but the Senate will not convict him. It’s the process. Let the House put the spotlight on this corrupt pos. Let’s hear his answers about his FISA shenanigans. Let’s hear why he let the lawyer who lied on the FISA predicate off with out any meaningful punishment, nor did he recommend disbarment. Force him to answer uncomfortable questions. Who knows maybe he commits perjury.

This is an introduction of impeachment articles. The House might pass it on a majority vote but the Senate needs 2/3 to remove this POS and that will never happen.
At the very least, Boasberg needs a careful and reasoned impeachment in the Court of Public Opinion.
What he did and why it was wrong need to be laid out and fully explained so that the entire country knows about him and why a congressional impeachment and removal would be fully justified and correct.
