Muslim Group CAIR Allegedly Paid Anti-Israel Protesters on College Campuses

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), has allegedly paid up to $1,000 to students who protested Israel on college campuses. If true, this would certainly make sense.
Over the last year, CAIR has made its voice heard in all of the craziness, usually by accusing schools of being ‘hostile’ towards anti-Israel protesters.
People who oppose Israel looked at what was unfolding on college campuses after the October 7th attacks and thought their time had come.
The New York Post reports:

Anti-Israel agitators who spread disruption at US colleges and were punished by authorities were awarded checks for $1,000 by a Muslim nonprofit, The Post has learned.
The money was given to students who faced penalties for leading pro-Palestinian protests before and after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 2023, according to a bombshell report by the Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) and the Intelligent Advocacy Network (IAN).
The cash was awarded from a “Champions of Justice Fund,” set up by the California chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) as “institutional endorsement,” the report claims.
In California, the largest arm of the CAIR web of nonprofits, affiliates in San Francisco and Los Angeles raised more than $100,000 in donations for campus radicals, while the main group solicited $64,000 in donations, records show.
The money was then offered as interest free loans in grants of $1,000 to students who lost “scholarships, housing or other support because of their advocacy,” according to CAIR’s website.
In October 2024, CAIR-CA awarded $20,000 in loans and scholarships to 20 student protestors from the “Champions of Justice Fund.”
David Strom of Hot Air notes that CAIR is a non-profit charity, and points out that in many cases, our charitable system is used against us as a country:
Americans have been forced to fund our own destruction as a country. NGOs have been a key component of the infrastructure that has led us to this perilous moment. How many nonprofits aided the migration of anti-American zealots? How much goes to funding anti-Western propaganda? How many nonprofits fund lawsuits aimed at weakening our culture? How much flows to academic institutions to pervert our academy?
CAIR is a bit player compared to the whole complex of anti-Western NGOs. And NGOs are now a very big business in the United States, making up about 7% of our GDP and 10% of our workforce. Some are anti-American in purpose, others are scams to rip off taxpayers, and far too few are genuine charities that do good works.
It is maddening.
When the Trump administration is finished scrutinizing higher education, they may want to take a wider look at the non-profit world in general.
