Former CIA Officer Says Elissa Slotkin ‘Knew What She Was Doing’ With Military Defiance Video

Former CIA officer, Bryan Dean Wright, appeared on Watters’ World this weekend to offer analysis of the bizarre, some would say seditious, video released by Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and other Democrats in which they advised members of the military to ignore supposedly ‘illegal’ orders from President Trump.
Wright suggests that Slotkin, who is also former CIA, knew exactly what she was doing by putting out this video.

On Friday’s “Jesse Watters Primetime” on FNC, former CIA operations officer and host of the “The Wright Report” podcast, Bryan Dean Wright, argued that Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) intentionally sparked a firestorm with what he deemed a “propaganda video” urging military members to defy so-called “illegal orders.”
“All right, Brian, these Democrats. Is this seditious what they’re doing?” host Jesse Watters asked.
“It is,” Wright replied. “And look, we need to be very, very clear about Slotkin and who she is, so she knew what she was doing when she put that together. As a former CIA operations officer, my job was to go out in the field and collect the intel, conduct the operation. Her job as an analyst was to figure out whether or not things like propaganda operations were successful, if they were effective.”
He continued, “So she has seen her fair share of propaganda operations, and she knows how to pull those off and make them effective. So if you think about it through that lens, if you watch the video again, one of the first things that she and the others do is they establish credibility and authority. They talk about who they are, working for the CIA and working for the military. They then move into the next phase of the propaganda message, which is, there’s a crisis. They create a crisis for the listeners inside the FBI and the CIA and the military, and they say that there is a threat, not just abroad, like we might face with China or Russia or al-Qaeda, but inside of the country. The threat is here. Who’s that threat? Donald Trump.”

Every congress critter wants to be a senator and every senator wants to be president. Slotkin and Kelly are no different. They can never be allowed to president or vice president, That video disqualifies them. Especially Slotkin.

I concur. Kelly is a truly evil opportunist who has no loyalty beyond his own self-interests. Obviously this appeals to those who want the garbage that he is selling, but there aren’t that many military or law enforcement sheep in that flock and this presents a real potential challenge to the accumulation of sufficient power to suppress dissent. So the long term game appears to be to reduce confidence in the traditional chain of command by using former members to sow various excuses for mutiny. This is dishonorable and ineffective for subversion of the vast majority of members the various Services, but is a way to see how deep the DEI rot extends and if this can be exploited to undermine future opposition from military or law enforcement agencies.
There’s a reason they call the Senate “The Hundred Kings.”
America cannot stand with division, and it seems that the left wants that divide to exist.

Intelligent and informed people who never served a day in the military or worked in the CIA saw this for what it really is. Slotkin and the other clowns have been very vocal about how Trump is “authoritarian” and is reshaping our “democracy” into a dictatorship. Some leftists have been stupid enough to actually say they want the military to rise up and overthrow this administration. They are playing a dangerous game.
They should clarify the video and post another saying what they really mean which is that the military and government employees should refuse to obey any order or policy which does align with Democrat party objectives.
No, that’s not what they meant. They were in the services and received the same training that all servicemen get, so they know that they are expected to disobey only orders that they know for a fact to be unlawful, or that are so obviously unlawful that any normal person would know it. And they know that every serving person knows this, and already knows to disobey such orders should they ever be given any, which is unlikely.
As I wrote on the previous post about this, their message was not targeted at servicemen at all. It was targeted at the general public, who don’t know these things. The purpose was entirely political and cynical.
They were not trying to get servicemen to defy lawful orders and get in trouble; nor were they trying to get them to defy unlawful orders since they know such orders are unlikely to be given. Rather they were trying to make the public worry that Trump is likely to give such orders, because he’s Literally Hitler™, and therefore come next November they should vote Democrat to stop him.
What you say is true. However these former CIA and military veterans are part of the woke crowd infesting our military and Intelligence communities. They are applying “color revolution” techniques to try and obfuscate truth to sway public opinion. Slotkin takes her cue from the Brennan side of the IC. It’s a very dangerous game they are playing.
You know what their innermost thoughts and motives are? Really?
They do indeed want servicemen to refuse Trump orders. They want sailors and airmen refuse to attack cartel boats or other assists. They want guardsmen to refuse to protect federal agents and property in blue cities. And they absolutely want troops to refuse any orders to help federal agents deport illegal immigrants.
There will almost certainly be a few woke service people who will refuse orders to carry out missions that focus on American sovereignty and America First principals. The Democrat party and media will portray them as heroic figures.

Well, yeah. Slotkin is a bolshevik and her appearance with her like-minded colleagues was clearly well thought out in advance, as was her “correction” that will be heard by only a fraction of the people who heard her original call to tyranny in the military and intelligence agencies. Trump was right to denounce all of them for what they are: traitors, bolsheviks, insurrectionists.
