Anti-Israel Protesters Attempt to Ruin Black Friday Shopping in New York City
“About 70 rowdy protesters wearing keffiyehs blew whistles and waved Palestinian flags when they charged into the Zara store”
Mobs of anti-Israel crazies showed up to make a nuisance of themselves in New York City on Black Friday, doing their best to annoy shoppers who were just trying to live their lives free of harassment.
Like Code Pink and other leftist groups, so much of this is about spectacle and a longing for attention.

Anti-Israel agitators boycotting Black Friday stormed a ritzy Fifth Avenue store in New York City Friday, disrupting shoppers and leaving four people arrested on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
About 70 rowdy protesters wearing keffiyehs blew whistles and waved Palestinian flags when they charged into the Zara store around 12:30 p.m., chanting, “They fund the genocide,” to startled shoppers as police rushed to remove them from the Midtown fashion retailer, according to police and video footage.
“Zara is a genocidal company,” one demonstrator yelled, as others shrieked, “Free Palestine.”
One protester wore a sign that read, “While you’re shopping, bombs are dropping.”
Four were arrested during the raucous rally, with three issued summonses and 29-year-old Jersey City resident Vel West Arthur charged with criminal trespass, an NYPD spokesperson told The Post.
Video showed at least two arrestees going limp as cops hauled them away.
The disruptive protesters continued marching south on Fifth Avenue Friday afternoon, banging drums, waving flags, chanting, blowing whistles and hoisting large signs, including a bright orange one that read, “Israel is killing children!”
They think they’re entitled to do this.

Pro-Palestinian and Anti-Apple Protesters Clash With NYPD at Fifth Avenue Store on Black Friday
A Black Friday demonstration at Apple’s flagship Fifth Avenue store escalated into multiple arrests after a coalition of activists staged protests inside the building and on the sidewalk outside, according to social media accounts and witnesses at the scene.
The disruption began when activists entered the store and unfurled banners while chanting, “Apple, Apple, free the Congo!” The group accused the company of benefiting from exploitative cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo and criticized Apple’s alleged ties to ICE and former President Donald Trump. At least one individual was detained by security inside the store.
The demonstration later expanded outside, where pro-Palestinian protesters joined the gathering. The combined groups blocked pedestrian traffic along Fifth Avenue, prompting a significant NYPD response.
Officers made several arrests for disorderly conduct after protesters refused to disperse, police said.

Black Friday Sales events (though not necessarily held on Fridays) were first started in late 1863 when forward-thinking Southern plantation owners realized that the die was cast. These owners began preparing for the worst. Lincoln’s January 1, 1863 proclamation, Lee’s loss at Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863) and Lincoln’s resolve expressed in his November 19, 1863 address told these owners “to get out while the getting is good,’ meaning, before the bottom fell out on prices.

Lincoln never said that and he did not view slavery n a narrow, plantation-accounting sense.
Now, that out of the way, I’m going to do some online shopping at Zara. A store I never heard of before the screeching of Hamas supporting nuts.

I realize there’s a certain sick humor there, and if the Lincoln “quote” was part of the sick joke, my error, I confess I didn’t read most of it as carefully as I could. In the future, probably better (and smarter) to skip comment sections altogether. You meet a better class of people elsewhere, actually almost anywhere.

Oh, there was an anti-ICE protest at the Williamsburg (Virginia) outlet malls yesterday, according to the wife. About a dozen people. And evidently ignored by the huge masses of people out shopping in Trump’s economy.

Better yet use it as a factor to determine whether any naturalized person is meeting their obligation of fidelity to the USA ‘bear true faith and allegiance to the same’. Similar for green card holders, visa, asylum claimants to view social media, news media, arrest records and determine the degree to which their actions/statements conform to expectations of conduct towards the Nation and its Citizens who provided a temporary welcome consistent with maintaining or extending the temporary grant of permission to remain in the USA. IOW find a small thing and search for larger things to include in person Q&A with immigration officials.

That is an excellent idea. The entire concept of “Palestine” is built on lies just like BLM, and its only purpose is the destruction of Israel. Putting the Arabs on the defensive would be the best possible move and refocus people on the real issue.
