Trump Admin Says Minnesota Violated Title IX Over Males in Female Sports

Minnesota allowing males in female sports hit national news over a male pitcher on the softball team.

President Donald Trump’s administration is not messing around when it comes to defending Title IX.

The Education Department and Health and Human Services found that Minnesota violated Title IX by allowing males to participate in female sports.

The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) did not stop males from competing on female lacrosse, track & field, volleyball, and fastpitch softball teams.

“For too many years, Minnesota’s political leadership has found itself on the wrong side of justice, common sense, and the American people. Now the Minnesota Department of Education and the Minnesota State High School League find themselves on the wrong side of Title IX by allowing males to compete in women’s sports,” stated Education Acting Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights Craig Trainor. “The Trump Administration will not allow Minnesota or any other state to sacrifice the safety, fair treatment, and dignity of its female students to appease the false idols of radical gender ideology. Once an education program or entity takes federal funds, Title IX compliance becomes mandatory. And the federal government will hold Minnesota accountable until it recognizes that fact.”

Pitcher Charlie “Marissa” Rothenberger made national news with his shutout games, leading Champlin Park to the state championship.

Charlie pitched all 21 innings, giving up only two hits.

The Education Department elevated its investigation into Minnesota after Charlie made those headlines.

Three female high school softball players sued the state, but a federal judge threw out the case.

U.S. District Judge Eric Tostrud claimed the attorneys did not show “as a factual matter that bylaw-created disparities are sufficiently substantial to deny its members ‘effective accommodation’ or ‘equal treatment’ as those concepts are defined under Title IX.”

Excuse me? Males are not allowed in female sports.

    Uh RTFA, okay?

No federal education funds for Minnesota, that’s what Trump is going to do.

First, love Reily Gaines. She rocks.

Second, as a red blooded American boy, I would have loved hanging out in the girls locker room. I grew up in a very wealthy town and the girls I went to school with were absolutely beautiful.

But because I was raised in a culture of decency that respected women, I would never have crossed that threshold.

And I’m positive that had any boy had tried, one of the brothers would have taken him out behind the smoking area for some lessons in manners.

You see, I think that’s at the root of many of our problems. Bullies aren’t being corrected by their peers. Schools disallow boys from fighting; most fights are a result of inappropriate behavior and having the snot kicked out of you for being socially irresponsible is a good check on how you act.

Joe Biden, as an example, didn’t receive the appropriate feedback to his behavior before it became a federal offense to give him a fat lip.

does mn even belong to the usa anymore??

Two categories for sports:

Open category, where everyone can compete
XX category, only for those with XX chromosomes .

There’s also the countertenor problem, men taking parts from women.

(the whole thing is a spectacular performance)

I’m always bemused to recall that when Shakespeare was performing his farces such as Midsummer Night’s Dream, where the male characters disguise themselves as women and vice versa, that all the “female actors” on stage were biological males in real life. Sort of an Elizabethan version of Inception.

Often not mentioned in this debate:

These beta-males that can’t make the boys teams but become star performers on the girls teams then get full athletic scholarships to some college/university. Scholarships that ought to have gone to a female athlete.

So, they are robbing girls of opportunities.

Once in college, they are then locked into the farce. They have to stay on the girl’s team in order to keep their scholarship.

Not that they mind, beta males apparently *really* get off on changing in girls locker rooms and showering with them.

    there could be another approach.
if they allow biological males, those teams do not qualify as “female” but mixed gender, in total. for a single trans player in the group.
the entire amount of the group of scholarships, the nonscholarchip spending (coaches practice areas stadiums medical
tutors ect.) don’t count towards title IX compliance.
