Netanyahu: Israel Prepares for “Immediate Implementation” of Trump Peace Plan After Hamas Signals Partial Agreement
Israel willing “to end the war in accordance with the principles Israel has set that align with President Trump’s vision,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said.
After Hamas, on Friday night, partially agreed to President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel is ready for an “immediate implementation of the first phase” of the plan that requires the release of all remaining hostages from Gaza within the first 72 hours.
“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office said Israel was preparing for an “immediate implementation” of the first stage of Trump’s Gaza plan for the release of Israeli hostages following Hamas’ response,” Reuters reported.

Hamas is required to free all Israeli hostages in the initial phase of the 20-point plan. According to the Trump plan, “Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.” On Monday, Prime Minister Netanyahu agreed to the Gaza peace plan at a White House meeting with President Trump.
“In light of Hamas’s response, Israel is preparing for immediate implementation of the first phase of Trump’s plan for the release of all hostages,” the Prime Minister’s office said. Friday night. “We will continue to work in full cooperation with the President and his team to end the war in accordance with the principles Israel has set that align with President Trump’s vision.”
The Israeli prime minister’s statement came after President Trump called for a cessation of hostilities in Gaza to facilitate the immediate release of hostages from Hamas captivity.
“Israel must immediately stop the bombing of Gaza, so that we can get the Hostages out safely and quickly!” The president wrote on Truth Social. “We are already in discussions on details to be worked out. This is not about Gaza alone, this is about long sought PEACE in the Middle East.”
U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and Israeli negotiators were heading to the Egyptian capitol Cairo to meet Hamas leadership. Ambassador “Witkoff was traveling to Egypt alongside Israeli and Arab negotiators for talks on the deal to end the war in Gaza,” the Jerusalem Post reported Saturday morning. “Hamas negotiators are also expected to arrive in Cairo on Saturday night, with negotiations set to begin on Sunday, according to Saudi outlet Al Arabiya.”

President Trump welcomed Israel’s decision to halt military operations in Gaza and told Hamas that he won’t “tolerate delay” in implementation of the deal.
“I appreciate that Israel has temporarily stopped the bombing in order to give the Hostage release and Peace Deal a chance to be completed,” President Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday morning.
“Hamas must move quickly, or else all bets will be off,” he added. “I will not tolerate delay, which many think will happen, or any outcome where Gaza poses a threat again. Let’s get this done, FAST. Everyone will be treated fairly!”

Hamas partially agrees to the Trump plan, refuses to disarm or demilitarize Gaza
Hamas, in a statement on Friday night, said that it had agreed to the “release all Israeli prisoners, both living and dead, according to the exchange formula contained in President Trump’s proposal, provided the field conditions for the exchange are met.”
The terrorist group, however, refused to hand over weapons as envisaged in the initial stages of the plan. “Political leaders in Qatar lean toward accepting President Trump’s plan, but military commanders in Gaza resist surrendering arms and giving up hostages,” The Wall Street Journal reported Friday night.

Israel is expected to send negotiators to Qatar to finalize the implementation of the plan with the Hamas leadership, Ynetnews reported Saturday morning:
According to Hamas’s response, it is ready to enter negotiations – but is not ready to hand over its weapons and is not ready for demilitarization. It agrees to release the hostages – but not on the timeline the President set, and refuses to accept an international-Arab governing mechanism. Hamas also did not include in its response agreement to the IDF’s continued presence in the Gaza Strip. In practice, Hamas ostensibly rejects most of Trump’s conditions but leaves an opening for negotiations – so that it won’t be accused of refusal.
Despite this, Israeli sources involved in the negotiations say that “there is something to work with”. Now, it is likely that Israel will be required to send a negotiating team to Doha, and it may even be required to send a more senior team.
Gaza: IDF prepares to receive hostages, remains on high alert
Following Prime Minister Netanyahu’s statement, IDF Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, ordered the military to prepare for a possible hostage release by Hamas. After nearly two years of war since the October 7 massacre, Hamas continues to hold 48 hostages, out of whom only 20 are believed to be alive.
“In accordance with the directives from the political echelon, the Chief of the General Staff instructed to advance readiness for the implementation of the first phase of the Trump plan for the release of the hostages,” the IDF said in a statement Saturday morning.
Given Hamas’s history of deception, the Israeli troops in Gaza remained on high alert. “At the same time, it was emphasized that the safety of IDF troops is a top priority and that all IDF capabilities will be allocated to the Southern Command to ensure the protection of the troops,” the IDF statement added. “The Chief of Staff noted that, given the operational sensitivity, all troops must maintain high alertness and vigilance, in addition to reinforcing the need for a rapid response to neutralize any threat.”
The military reportedly halted the ground offensive in Gaza City. “The Israel Defense Forces was ordered to halt its offensive to capture Gaza City on Saturday after US President Donald Trump said his Gaza truce plan was accepted by Hamas and called on Israel to stop bombing the Strip,” The Times of Israel reported.

Hamas will live up to nothing.
I think the world has changed a lot in the last year. Iran is no longer capable of funding Hamas and Hesbullah, Qatar is on edge about head quartering terrorists, Europe is irrelevant and a friendly President is in office.
Hamas needs to read the writing on the wall.
No they don’t. They never have and they now have public opinion trending in their favor in the West. While they would like to regroup and rearm it’s best they don’t lose momentum that a ceasefire would cause (if it actually holds).
Then the world moves on without them.
Iran is no longer able to fund them, their leaders now have to live like their foot soldiers and if they don’t make peace they become irrelevant (which they already are). The world isn’t going to come to their aid any longer mainly because the Jews have grown balls and aren’t listening to the Jew haters in Europe.
Of course Hamas won’t live up to any of this. Releasing the hostages is just to buy them time to rearm. I’m surprised that Trump and Israel expects anyone to believe this nonsense
Hamas will release the hostages and crow about doing what Trump demanded for peace. Then they will hem and haw about the next steps until they start sending missiles across the border again. At that time, after a few flights of missiles into Israel, the Israelis will restart their sweeps through Gaza to eliminate the savages who bomb them.
Somebody remind us how many times we’ve seen this before.
.
Wouldn’t it be great if this time was the last time? I mean, get the hostages out (let’s see if they really do release them), then obliterate hamas entirely.
What we haven’t seen before are Jews with balls, as I mentioned above, the world has changed and it’s mainly changed because for the first time the juices didn’t back down.
And Netanyahu has now proven to be the fool that he always was by accepting this “peace agreement” and allowing Hamas to regroup, rearm, and plan new attacks against Israel despite his rhetoric that Hamas will be completely eliminated and no longer be a threat to Israel. And when Hamas does attack again, and they will as history shows Hamas and the Arab terrorists that support them will do so, I will be hard pressed to have any sympathy for Israel, Israeli citizens, or Israeli leadership. If they haven’t learned by this point that you cannot negotiate a peace with terrorists by now then the future of Israel is bleak and going to be cut short and there is nothing anybody can do about it. But here we are once again and there we go. That is all.

“And Netanyahu has now proven to be the fool …”
Netanyahu is not a fool. Israel needs the U.S backing to finish this job, and Netanyahu knows he must give Hamas 72 hours to agree to the peace terms. Of course Hamas will never agree to the peace terms.
This. Because Israel has some dependence on US munitions they have to do pretty much what their patron demands and hope Hamas shoots themselves in the foot which is what they usually do.
And how many times has Israel said, “The job is finished.” only to have Hamas once again start lobbing missiles into Israel. How many times has a President of the United States stated, “The job is finished.” only to be proven wrong. Hamas has had decades and opportunity after opportunity to make peace with Israel and end the violence. They’ve had Agreements, they’ve had Accords, they’ve had ceasefires and on and on over the decades. And each and everyone one has been quickly violated by Hamas. Every one. No exceptions. And if Netanyahu and President Trump think it’s going to be any different this time around they are both FOOLS of the worst kind. Fools that think doing the same thing yet again will this time result in a different outcome. Well, that’s a good definition of insanity and thinking Hamas is any different now than they were pre-Oct. 7th is just insane.
Hamas will accept the terms right up to the point they’ve regrouped, rearmed, and have plans for further attacks against Israel. And then they will quickly violate any terms they’ve agreed to and attack Israel. But this time around will do it with more barbarism and savagery because they will know it is do or die for them. And they’ll choose to die and take as many Jews with them. Because at that point they’ll have nothing to lose. Do or die. That is all.
EoT
The “field conditions for the exchange are met” which of course will not be the case and Hamas will use that as an excuse to not release any of the hostages and that will be it for the Trump’s bogus “20 Point Plan” for peace with the Hamas terrorists.
EoT
Bogus 😂 The left is determined that Trump doesn’t bring peace at any cost 😂😂
Trump and his inflated ego has bitten off a heck of a lot more than he can realistically deal with. He thinks he can negotiate with a death cult that whose very founding documents call of the complete destruction of Israel and the Jews and whose barbaric religion requires you to martyr yourself for Allah. You can’t negotiate with such an organization or people. But there for the sake of God we go and here we are.
EoT
This says more about you and the lefts determination to not want peace than a President working to bring peace where he can sweetie 😂😂
How are you suppose to deal with a murderous cult whose main desire is to die for Allah?
They want to die as much as you and most normal folk want to live.
It’s their faith.
The remaining members of Hamas have no clue where the hostages are located. I am looking forward to the excuses.
It doesn’t sound like hamas really agreed to anything, but if it’s good enough for Bibi…
I don’t think Hamas is in a position to say no to anything 🤷♂️
Before you start trusting Bibi look at his entire history, his long and unprincipled political career. Ask anyone who’s dealt with him in the past 30 years.
