“We’re now ready to get to work immediately on registering voters, standing for dialogue, and carrying forward the mission of truth on campus”
This is probably going to happen at a lot of schools over the coming year.

Concordia U. approves TPUSA group after 2 years following massive backlash
Concordia University in Wisconsin approved a new Turning Point USA after a viral social media post criticized the school for delaying the club for two years.
President Jacob Turner said he had tried get the club approved at the Lutheran school in Mequon, but faced denial. “Bureaucracy and stonewalling made me give up at one point,” he wrote on X.
He said he resubmitted the application recently because he felt inspired by the work of the late Charlie Kirk.
“But after Charlie’s passing, I found a fire I’ve never felt before. There’s a real revival happening on my campus,” Turner wrote on X Wednesday.
He said the school denied his group because his group will not “denounce the Professor Watchlist – an educational tool that lets students know who the marxist professors are so they can plan their courseload accordingly.”
The post went viral, boosted by a reply from Elon Musk. Wisconsin Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden also criticized the university publicly. In total, there were around 3 million views on the post.
By Thursday morning, Turner said the school had reversed course and approved the application.
“We’re now ready to get to work immediately on registering voters, standing for dialogue, and carrying forward the mission of truth on campus,” Turner wrote on X.
“Way to stand firm,” TPUSA executive Tyler Bowyer wrote in response.
“Underestimate these young people at your peril,” sports journalist Michele Tafoya wrote.
The university provided a statement on the matter, as reported by Fox 6 in Milwaukee. The school said “the Student Organization Committee reviewed the application, engaged with the student applicant, and determined that the chapter may move forward.”
“This is the same process used for all requests to establish a nationally affiliated club or organization seeking official recognition at Concordia University Wisconsin,” the university told the media.
Yesterday, I shared that the @TPUSA chapter I run at Concordia University Wisconsin was denied recognition because I refused to denounce the Professor Watchlist.
I didn’t expect the tweet to gain much traction, but it turns out there's a real fire in people to defend the right… pic.twitter.com/hoPmaor76W

Does anybody have a direct URL to the post demanding they denounce their own watchlist? People without X accounts can view single tweets, but can’t slide up and down the timeline.
