Biden Forced CIA to Suppress Report Showing Ukrainian Concerns Over Family’s Dealings
After a 2015 visit, the Ukrainian government viewed the then-VP’s family dealings “as evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power,”
CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified records that show then-Vice President Joe Biden in 2015 told the CIA to suppress a report that expressed concerns over his family’s business dealings in Ukraine.
The report is titled “Reactions of [blacked out] Ukrainian Officials to the Early December Visit of Senior United States Government Official.”
Biden visited Kyiv, Ukraine, in December 2015. Then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko hoped Biden would discuss “personnel matters” with the government as Ukraine faced Russian aggression.
Russia had already stolen Crimea and threatened eastern Ukraine.
Instead, Ukraine received “a generic public speech, and had no intention of discussing substantive matters with Poroshenko or other officials.”

Poroshenko’s officials “expressed bewilderment” over the visit.
“Following the visit of the U.S. Vice President, [blacked out] officials within the Poroshenko administration privately mused at the U.S. media scrutiny of the alleged ties of the U.S. Vice President’s family to corruption in Ukraine as evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power,” according to the report.
What corruption? You mean Hunter Biden sitting on the board of Burisma?
In February 2016, a Biden team member told the CIA the vice president “would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated.”
I mean, even people in the Obama administration knew Hunter’s position was wrong:

The democrat talking point is that J Biden got a corrupt prosecutor fired which most every European leader was trying to get Shokin fired. The reason was that Shokin wasnt prosecuting corruption.
However, that line of BS was never credible.
Hunter Biden was a participant in the Bursima Corruption. Does it make sense the Joe Biden got Shokin fired because he wasnt investigating his son’s corruption? Of course not, but it remains the democrats talking point.
