Trump to Award Ben Carson With Presidential Medal of Freedom

Carson deserves this award and so much more.

President Donald Trump will award Dr. Ben Carson, who served as his Secretary of Housing and Urban Development during his first term, with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Trump made the announcement at the American Cornerstone Institute’s Founder’s Dinner, which Carson founded.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in America, goes to people who have made exceptional contributions to the country or the world.

Well, Carson has definitely done that!

Carson is a true American success story. He became the youngest chief of pediatric neurosurgery in history.

Carson also led the team in the first known separaton of conjoined twins joined at the back of the head.

Carson had a tough childhood with a family that struggled financial problems until high school.

The doctor admitted he had anger issues during adolescence.

After once incident, Carson turned to the Bible and learned to control his anger.

Despite the troubles, Carson attended Yale and earned a degree from Yale in psychology in 1973.

Carson immediately went to the University of Michigan Medical School where he graduated in 1977.

Carson’s first job was in Australia in 1983, but he returned to Johns Hopkins in 1984 where he finished his career.

Carson made history with the conjoined twins, but he did so much more to save babies and children.

The doctor did a neurosurgical procedure on an unborn baby. Carson then established procedures to treat brain-stem tumors.

Carson also brought back techniques to control seizures.

Despite all the success, Carson has remained a humble man. He established a scholars fund for young children to use towards their college education.

Carson retired in 2013.

A kind, decent man. Bravo!

Another black man that the anti-rwaaaaaacists on the left detest with every fibre of their being.

Nice. Now do Thomas Sowell.

Well deserved.

Carson has never gotten the plaudits he deserves. Perhaps this will help draw attention to his accomplishments.

#47 should also give Dr. Thomas Sowell the Presidential Medal of Freedom. It is richly deserved and long overdue. And, Dr. Sowell is getting up there in years.

I remember clearly that when Carson was running for President 10 years ago, Trump said he wasn’t even a very good doctor. He also said, how can you trust a guy who smacks his mother’s head with a hammer? Nice to see all is love now.

Nice to see all is love now.

For now at least. Until Carson does or says something Trump doesn’t like. Then Trump will attack Carson like he’s done and is doing to other people that he’s pissed off with. Guaranteed to happen.

And then, after he retired, he (with three others) founded an online bank that pledges to serve patriots without threat of chokepoint or cancellation.
