Revival or Ruin? Sounding the Alarm on Faith, Culture, and America’s Spiritual Battle — Legal Insurrection Podcast, Episode 31

A revival is rising in America

I was super excited to sit down with someone who I’ve known for a very long time, Kira Davis. She is an incredible woman passionate about speaking truth. We discussed many things including the spiritual and political crossroads facing America. Together, we unpack the legacy of Charlie Kirk — his assassination, what it meant for the movement, and how his life and death are fueling a national awakening.

This episode goes beyond politics — it’s about truth, courage, conviction, and the cost of staying silent.

It’s a spiritual call to arms. Buckle up.

Greetings Kemberlee and Kira, I enjoyed your podcast episode and I’m gladdened by your faith in Christ. For me at 70, health issues don’t permit me to read and post like I once did, in fact, the Lord’s calling on what remains for me is to seek Him and write, create, encourage. In practical terms, that means solitude and putting an end to activism other than advocating for Christ and Truth.

Concerning Charlies assassination, we know that Christ is the head, and his body on earth is the Church (Eph 1:22-23). I did not know Charlie before his murder, but have read enough since then to know he gave His life to Christ and thereby yielded his mind (understanding / headship) to the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16), for whom Charlie advocated.

Where the world seeks to evict Christ and separate believers from Christ the head (Rev. 20:4), it is a symbolic warning that Charlie was shot in the neck, thereby separating his head (Christ) from his body. The message in that, if it can be received, is for every believer to connect with Christ the head (not through a pastor or church, but directly by prayerful relationship) and yield to His understanding and way.

For you mommies out there, determined to raise godly children, may God bless you in every way and with every good gift (Acts 2:4, Rom 12:6-8, 1 Cor 12:8-10, etc), especially the gift of teaching. About that, in the days following Voddie Baucham’s passing, I read this quote attributed to him:

“We cannot continue to send our children to Caesar for their education and be surprised when they come home as Romans.”

My wife, a retired public school teacher and I advocate home schooling for Christians. Our dear sister-in-law, also a retired FACS instructor, has home schooled her 2 sons, both intelligent achievers, personable and respectful, born again believers. They are far ahead of their public school peers, in fact, graduating early with 2 years of college education to their credit. The oldest, now 17, had 3-4 jobs last summer because everyone wanted to hire a hard working, competent and personable young man of faith.

Again, thanks Kemberlee and Kira. God bless you both! Jack Helser
