Manhattan DA Bragg Drops Charges Against Suspect Who Attacked Pro-Life Activist

Disgusting. Bragg gave no reason for his decision despite the assault being caught on camera.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg won’t prosecute a woman accused of assaulting a pro-life activist, leaving her bloody and bruised.

Bragg gave no reason, despite the entire incident being caught on tape.

From The Thomas More Society:

Thomas More Society attorneys announced they will file a civil suit and seek damages on behalf of veteran pro-life advocate, Savannah Craven Antao, against her assailant, Brianna Rivers, after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office failed to prosecute the felony assault charge.

In April 2025, Rivers assaulted Savannah with several blows to the face while the pro-life advocate was filming a “woman-on-the-street” interview for pro-life advocacy group, Live Action. Several minutes into their taped sidewalk conversation and incensed by Savannah’s pro-life message, Rivers, without provocation, delivered several blows that caused a laceration, sending Savannah to the emergency room for stitches, resulting in $3,000 in medical bills. After the attack, Rivers walked away from the scene of the crime with both middle fingers extended.

The entire assault was recorded on video and went viral on social media leading to Rivers’ arrest by NYPD and her being charged with second-degree assault. After her arrest, Rivers launched a GoFundMe to fundraise for her own defense. In a shocking twist, with no explanation from DA Bragg’s office, Savannah learned that the charge against Rivers was downgraded to a misdemeanor and later, completely dismissed.

The Thomas More Society will file a civil lawsuit against Rivers to seek damages on behalf of Craven Antao.

Rivers apologized in a Facebook post, but claimed Craven Antao provoked her.

She demanded Live Action release the full video, which it did. I didn’t see Craven Antao provoke Rivers.

You don’t understand the new woke definition of “provoke”

It means you said or thought something I don’t like so therefore I get to beat or kill you

Calling conservative oligarchs and funders. Civil lawfare works, too, especially when the tort is on video.

Perhaps the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ, under Harmett Dhillon, might pursue a case against Rivers for violating Craven-Antao’s civil rights by punching her in the face.

If Craven-Antao wants justice in NY, she needs to accuse Rivers of raping her in Bloomingdale’s.
Well, OK, Walmart — they’d never let Rivers into Bloomingdales.

Well, here’s my take:

If Bragg were to go forward with the charges as if they were just another of the thousands his office deals with routinely, I’m guessing that a light judgement would have come if it, continued without a finding or something like that.

But by not doing what he’s supposed to be doing – enforcing the law – he’s not only denying the victim justice, he’s opening up the perpetrator to far more serious consequences.

Not only that, but the public will rightly note that it’s every man for himself and not to trust the justice system to handle things.

End result? Vigilantism.

Cue Charles Bronson.

Yes, but. When the victim puts up a defense, it’s the victim whom Bragg will prosecute.

That nonsense got its start with school “authorities” that punishes the kid who – bullied mercilessly – finally fights back. Or, both kids are punished because these same “authorities” do not understand a basic principle called “context”.

See the legal fees and legal ordeal Mr Daniel Penny was subjected to.

IMO the best advice is go where you’re wanted and don’t remain in place or situation where you’re merely tolerated, taken for granted or worse viewed as a disposable revenue source to subsidise those who despise you.

          That’s ok.
          1. We won’t be subsidising our opposition which strengthens them while weakening us.
          2. A smaller perimeter is easier to defend.

Most importantly the takers rely upon the makers and the opposite is definitely not true. Let the takers wither or maybe even some will adapt/change. Either way they won’t be drawing on your taxes and economic support to fund their oppression of you and yours.

Let’s be honest. Alvin Bragg doesn’t “deal” with anything.

Smaller brain. Tiny prefrontal lobe.

Lesson learned: stay out of New York City. I have a few friends there from the old days. They will never leave no matter what. One of them won’t even carry any kind of legal defensive weapon like pepper spray. Most everyone I knew is either dead or long since moved away. I’m reluctant to go back even for a visit. I now go everywhere with my weapons which are legal in Texas, but not in NYC.

Go with sexual harassment charges. They stick in NYC.

Can the woman sue NYC/NY for violating her 14th amendment right to equal protection under the law.

Smells of “Stinky” Soros.

Perhaps we should consider bringing the Mafia back. Sending Vito and Tony out to “deal” with those that won’t be prosecuted because of a failed Just Us system isn’t a bad idea.

The message now being sent by the vile, evil, stupid Dhimmi-crat apparatchiks is that violence and terrorism carried out by Dhimmi-crats against Jews, Christians, pro-life activists and conservatives are not only acceptable and laudable, but, immune from prosecution, in Dhimmi-crat jurisdictions.

To dismantle a republic, the strategic approach is to divide the citizenry. The most effective tactic is a two-tiered justice system. You see the pattern here and in Canada, the UK and the EU.

Rivers is at the very least an ally of the Democrats/Leftists, if not a subordinate. As such, while in Democrat controlled territory she is immune from the law. It is what it is.
