Male Athlete Sues Princeton U. Over ‘Dehumanizing’ Removal From Female Track Meet
“He claims his removal violated New Jersey’s anti-discrimination law, which protects transgender individuals in public accommodations like schools.”
Five years ago, this person probably would have been included in the meet. Things are changing.
The College Fix reports:
Trans athlete sues Princeton for ‘dehumanizing’ removal from women’s track meet
A trans-identifying man recently filed a lawsuit against Princeton University, alleging he was illegally removed from a women’s track meet this year.
However, two policy experts told The College Fix that the lawsuit lacks merit.
The runner, who goes by Sadie Schreiner, claims he was unlawfully removed from the May race less than 24 hours before he was set to compete, according to a video he posted to his Instagram.
Schreiner, who “transitioned” in high school and previously competed for Rochester Institute of Technology, was set to run the 200-meter race as an unaffiliated athlete, according to WHYY.
He claims his removal violated New Jersey’s anti-discrimination law, which protects transgender individuals in public accommodations like schools.
Schreiner’s attorney filed a complaint in New Jersey Superior Court, naming the school, athletic director John Mack, and track operations director Kimberly Keenan-Kirkpatrick as defendants.
In court filings dated Aug. 22 and Aug. 25, Princeton and other defendants refuted the majority of the claims in Schreiner’s lawsuit, including the assertion that he was barred from running due to his “gender identity,” according to Princeton Alumni Weekly.
The lawsuit demands unspecified compensation for a “humiliating, dehumanizing and dignity-stripping ordeal.”
However, one policy expert told The College Fix via email “It’s not ‘dehumanizing’ to recognize biological reality or to protect the integrity of women’s sports.”
“As a male, Schreiner should not be competing in the female category, period. This is simple, common sense, and it’s absurd we are even debating it,” American Principles Project Policy Director Paul DuPont said.
He said he hopes the judiciary will protect female athletes’ right to their own competitions.
“However, New Jersey legislators have cemented gender ideology into many areas of the state’s law, so it’s difficult to say how this case will turn out,” DuPont said.
He said the U.S. Supreme Court’s upcoming rulings in women’s sports cases this fall will be telling. If the Court determines that Title IX prohibits men from participating in female athletics, it could impact this case in New Jersey.

I hate using their language, but the above is confusing as hell. Usually we say trans-female (meaning biological male) or trans-male (meaning biological female). So when you write “trans-identifying man” it is very confusing. Took a couple of paragraphs to determine we were talking about a biological male. If a biological female she would not have been kicked off the “men’s” team because she were a tranny, but because was an inferior athlete to the males.
I agree. Once we learn the rule of “mentally delete trans and substitute fake,” it’s easy for us to decode the proggy-speak.
Of course, the phrase “trans-identifying man” is nonsense to begin with. Perhaps the original author meant to type “male-identifying trans,” which at least contains semantic content… although for this news item it would be dead wrong.
What’s hard to understand? This is a man who is trans-identifying, i.e. thinks he’s a woman.
Assuming the author uses the word “man” in a non-proggy fashion. Otherwise, it could be one of those men who can have babies.
Then she wouldn’t be identified as “trans-identifying“, she’d be identified as a “trans-man”.
It would be more concise with this: a male, pretending to be female.
I find that more accurate and transparent than to call him a woman and attach labels.
You want humiliating and dignity-stripping, wait until everybody laughs you out of court.
NJ’s law may say what they like, but Title 9 is the supreme law of the land, and overrides it.
He filed his suit in NJ Superior Court, but I think that the defendants should move to remove the case to federal court., which can deal with the federal statutory issue as well as the state issue under the doctrine of pendant jurisdiction. There may not be a (federal) Constitutional issue, but I presume that the plaintiff is seeking damages that would meet the federal court’s jurisdictional requirement.
Whaaat?
The dude “dehumanized” his own self by masquerading as a woman…
‘De-Human’ is the wrong metaphor because in the animal kingdom males do not battle females for dominance. The battles are male vs male. That is why we humans enjoy Athletics.
Call me old fashioned but what I am most appalled at is the complete absence of shame by males (and I assume their families) who compete in women’s sports or frequent women-only spaces. I have got to believe that they know full well that they are exploiting an edge. They are certainly welcome to compete in men’s sports but clearly the competition would be most likely preclude any success. But instead they are cheaters and know full well that they are cheaters while enveloping themselves with an aura of fraudulent virtue.
Full disclosure, I worked happily and successfully for many years with a 6’1″ broad-shouldered adult man who then decided that he wanted to be woman and dress like a woman. I thought it was strange but professionally he/she was solid, reasonably bright, pleasant, and very professional both before and after the transition. BTW, even with the cosmetic surgery, clothing, cosmetics, and medication, there was no denying the fundamental nature of this person.
“I have got to believe that they know full well that they are exploiting an edge.”
Absence of shame shows up a lot. Like that dude who raised the price of EpiPens into the stratosphere. Yeah, he’s the best capitalist ever… but he’s still a dick.
The dude could identify as a Orthoflaviviridae family virus if he wanted to, but it wouldn’t make him one. Although, right now, he’s certainly displaying the IQ of a virus.
This, my friends, is what the term “attention whore” was coined for.
