Kansas Dept. of Ed Fires Official Who Called Charlie Kirk’s Murder ‘Well Deserved’
” it only took moments for social media users to screen grab my words and quickly spread them”
We’re now well over a week into this and still, more people are getting fired for saying these stupid and hateful things.
The College Fix reports:
Kansas Dept. of Ed official fired after calling Charlie Kirk’s murder ‘well deserved’
A Kansas Department of Education employee was recently fired after she called conservative speaker Charlie Kirk’s assassination “well deserved.”
Katie Allen, who was a KSDE research analyst, apologized for the comment after facing immense backlash, but still lost her job, The Mercury reported.
A KSDE spokesperson confirmed that Allen is no longer employed by the department, but did not provide a reason for her termination.
Allen was responding on Facebook to a repost by school board candidate Courtney Jane Hochman last week.
The shared post, originally from People magazine, announced Kirk’s murder. It featured a quote from Kirk stating that “a cost of … some gun deaths every single year” is worth it “so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”
Allen simply wrote “well deserved” in the comments. Libs of TikTok posted a photo of the comment on X before Allen deleted it.
She later apologized for the comment, The Mercury reported.
“Late this afternoon I was walking to my car and scrolling Facebook,” she wrote in a statement, adding “and then [in] an emotional moment I commented on a post related to a recent shooting.”
“I looked back at the post when I got to my car I quickly realized I didn’t intend the meaning the two words I wrote had so I deleted my comment. Too late — it only took moments for social media users to screen grab my words and quickly spread them,” she stated.
She also stated that her comment does not reflect who she is, which is why she deleted it so quickly.

The explanation, that she posted, “in an emotional moment” and that she almost immediately realized that she didn’t really mean it, sounds like complete BS.
She would have been better off saying, “I was wrong and I’m sorry.” Instead, it sounds like she’s blaming “social media” for screen grabbing her “emotional” mistake so fast.
Exactly, the whole “it took moments moments” comment was a tell. If only those evil right wingers hadn’t noticed my comment, I’d have deleted it.
Yea…and I’ve got a bridge to sell in Brooklyn.
Translation: “I reacted to the facebook post out of emotion and accidentally responded with my real opinion in public for all to see…I regret that mistake and, in the future, will be sure to only express my true opinions while indoctrinating your children.”
That’s the only bad thing about this whole “get them fired for their opinions thing”. It’s good that these specific people who’ve outed themselves will no longer have access to impressionable children, but this reaction also encourages other like-minded people to stay quiet about their opinions in public…which makes it harder to identify them.
Sorry about the redundancy typo…I need an editor.
AWFLs: Daily confirming the stereotype of women being hysterical, emotion-driven creatures.
Best of luck in future job interviews
now there is only 99% of his type still in classrooms
stop funding our demise
come on gop
come on voters demand it of them
Huh? What on earth are you talking about? Whose type, and what have classrooms got to do with it?
It always seems to be something else at fault when it comes to the left’s misdeeds….

Imagine that, retard.
You work in education? Inconceivable.
In related news. shitlib hackers are crowing about having taken down charliesmurderers.com a few days ago. They are positive they are all shining white hats, despite admitting to committing a federal felony punishable by up to five or even ten years.
The organizers are in the process of resurrecting as The Charlie Kirk Data Foundation (charliekirkdata.org), but that website is currently nonoperational as well, as I fully expected.
What felony? If a site allows public submissions, and posts them without checking, they have the legal right to flood it with fake ones.
I can’t imagine how this could possibly be legal. She’s not a teacher, so there’s no excuse that her students would be frightened of her. How can a research analyst’s political opinions possibly be relevant to her employment? How can this possibly be distinguished from Rankin, which is the law of the land?
