Joe Biden Presidential Library Faces Major Fundraising Challenges
“I want an $800,000 refund”
Last week, it was announced that Joe Biden has decided to build his presidential library in Delaware, which seems appropriate considering that he spent most of his one-term presidency there.
Still, it’s surprising that they are moving forward with this, as we are still learning more about the scandalous cover-up of Biden’s physical and mental health.

Former President Joe Biden has decided to build his presidential library in Delaware and has tapped a group of former aides, friends and political allies to begin the heavy lift of fundraising and finding a site for the museum and archive.
The Joe and Jill Biden Foundation this past week approved a 13-person governance board that is charged with steering the project. The board includes former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, longtime adviser Steve Ricchetti, prolific Democratic fundraiser Rufus Gifford and others with deep ties to the one-term president and his wife.
Biden’s library team has the daunting task of raising money for the 46th president’s legacy project at a moment when his party has become fragmented about the way ahead and many big Democratic donors have stopped writing checks.
It also remains to be seen whether corporations and institutional donors that have historically donated to presidential library projects — regardless of the party of the former president — will be more hesitant to contribute, with President Donald Trumpmaligning Biden on a daily basis and savaging groups he deems left-leaning.
President Trump is the least of Biden’s problems here. Many Democrat donors believe they were burned in the 2024 election, and they’re not exactly lining up to offer new financial support.

Former President Joe Biden’s new effort to raise money for a presidential library is struggling to attract Democrat donors, according to a report.
More than half a dozen people who were once major Biden donors or fundraisers spoke to NBC News. Most said they have no animosity toward the former president, but they either would not give to the library or would only give a limited amount.
The donors pointed to several factors, including not wanting to make themselves a target of the Trump administration and reserving their money for the Democratic Party’s future. Some of them said they had personal interactions with Biden’s inner circle that were so unpleasant they believed it would be difficult to ever raise significant funds for the former president.
“I’d like him to have some nice library,” one donor told NBC News. “I just don’t see that’s where I’m going to spend my money.”…
Biden also faces residual frustration from the party over his decision to initially seek re-election despite health issues that ultimately led to him dropping out of the race last summer after his highly scrutinized mental acuity was put on display during a presidential debate against Donald Trump. Former Vice President Kamala Harris then quickly secured the party’s nomination before losing to Trump in November.
“I want an $800,000 refund,” personal injury lawyer John Morgan told NBC News, referring to money he said he raised for Biden that went to Harris last year.
“I don’t believe a library will ever be built unless it’s a bookmobile from the old days,” Morgan joked.
What exactly is going to be showcased in Biden’s presidential library? His disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan? Images of thousands of people streaming across the open southern border? The autopen?

Given Obama’s billion dollar boondoggle library in Chicago, a double wide bookmobile is all Biden deserves.
Doesn’t need a doublewide. A simple van up on cinderblocks is all he requires. Better yet give the autopen a library. It was more a president than Biden.
Just put in a small Biden wing in Obama’ library. Joe was just Zero’s third term anyhow.
Or just a facepainting booth, where people could meet Hunter.
Perhaps George Clooney and his Hollywood fellow travellers can fund the library’s “Lost Coke” Wing or the “Autopen Restroom.”

It’s pretty simple economics, I suspect. One donates to receive influence albeit not in a direct quid pro quo relationship. It’s always been that way. However with Joe himself powerless, and his hand picked successor Kamala scorned, there’s precious little influence to be gained. Further right now the Democrats don’t seem to have a legitimate challenger for Vance. Sure the 2028 elections are still a long way off, but right now there is only Gavin Newsom and he doesn’t carry the aura of a winner. Too far left for the Right and too far right for the Left. So, with nothing to be gained and a valid fear of drawing Trump’s attention as a negative, Library Money is in short supply.
I’m sure they’ll have a vast collection of coloring books and a wide variety of tapioca.
And lots of Classified and Top Secret cover sheets, along with canceled checks that were routed through 12 different offshore LLCs to finally end up in some Biden family account – all loans and loan repayments, of course.
And we can’t forget the wing needed to house all of Traitor Joe’s house mortgages. They are historic – something like 40 mortgages for 2 houses over 20 years.
Don’t forget the banana pudding.
$800,000 would hardly cover the sexual grooming books for the Children’s Wing.
The Auto-Pen administration has nothing but crimes to file, who wants to pay for that?
Now there’s an idea! Visitors to the Biden library can make a slight donation, and after giving their names and preferred crimes………
An official looking pardon will be generated and they can watch it being signed by an autopen!
When I visit, I’ll leave my donation in the toilet and hope that no one flushes it.

I say this seriously. If they wanted to do one thing good in this world before he goes to his eternity, they should start a dementia awareness foundation.
If someone with a lot of money wanted to say something w/out saying it: Make a monument like Mt Rushmore with Carter and Biden.
But not a mountain — it should be carved on a deep canyon wall.
It’s somehow fitting that a slip n’ fall attorney is a major donor. He wants his money back. Sue them, counselor.
Maybe he and Obama can join forces and build a joint presidency library somewhere.
They could set up an ice cream push cart on the bike path where Biden took a dive near Rehoboth Beach. By the time that Biden’s unrecognized grand daughter is 80 years old they should have enough for a push cart presidential library.
In my humble opinion, Joe Biden will eventually be recognized as the absolute nadir of presidents, if not proven to have occupied the office illegitimately (which I believe is true) so an appropriate library for him is an unmaintained porta-potty with a copy of the July 1972 issue of Playboy magazine inside.

In Colorado on US-285 there used to be an outhouse visible from the highway. This road runs through a high mountain valley, and the snow depths are sometimes impressive. As in it is a two story outhouse with a ladder to reach the upper door because there are sometimes feet of snow drifted up against it. I suspect that the upper story’s seat/hole is offset from the ground floor’s seat and hole. But for the purpose you propose, that restriction would not be necessary.

He forgot it at least twice WHILE he was president.
Respectfully disagree. If the governance board goes to the makers of Depend adult diapers and Prevagen pills, maybe big pharma that makes dementia meds, they may build a modest building. Make the interior a sampling site for adult care products, put a few pictures up of Puddin head, have some nice ice cream vendors… Since his policies were not reality based, reality and accurate history would not be restrictions. Put coupons for attendance in the AARP magazine and ads for Delaware beaches, they may build something. A much greater problem will be keeping it open as the Biden family will continuously skim money from the site,

If I could figure out a way to donate where the collection costs exceed the donation, I would donate early and often.
The idea of a Biden library is a joke. I doubt he ever knew how to read.
Just put a bunch of boxes in a trailer on the ‘vette. Shouldn’t be a fund-raising problem, and would represent the library skills of the Walter/Achmed the Dead Terrorist look-and-act alike.
