Erika Kirk will make her first public statement since Charlie’s assassination on Wednesday.
Summary of her speech: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Erika vowed never to let Charlie’s movement die.
She warned the evil doers who assassinated her husband that they’ve unleashed something that the country has never witnessed:
“They should all know this. If you THOUGHT that my husband’s mission was powerful before? You have NO IDEA. You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.””The evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no IDEA what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God’s merciful love.””The movement will NOT DIE. I refuse to let that happen.””All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband’s name, and I will make sure of it. It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever.”
The movement will also not die because Charlie’s show, radio show, tours, and AmericaFest will continue:
“My husband’s voice will remain, and ring out louder and more clearly than ever. And his wisdom will endure.”
The worst part, though, was recalling how she had to tell their daughter that Charlie wasn’t coming home:
“[Our daughter said] ‘Mommy, I missed you.’ I said, I missed you too. She goes, ‘where’s daddy?’ She’s 3.””I said, ‘Baby, daddy loves you so much. He’s on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget.'”
Many people would lose their faith. Not Erika:
Erika Kirk: “Our world is filled with evil. But our God is so good. He’s so incredibly good. And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good for those that are called according to his purpose.”
