Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s Widow: ‘This Movement Will Not Die. I Refuse to Let It Happen’

“You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.”

Erika Kirk will make her first public statement since Charlie’s assassination on Wednesday.

Summary of her speech: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Erika vowed never to let Charlie’s movement die.

She warned the evil doers who assassinated her husband that they’ve unleashed something that the country has never witnessed:

“They should all know this. If you THOUGHT that my husband’s mission was powerful before? You have NO IDEA. You have no idea what you’ve just unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.”

“The evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no IDEA what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God’s merciful love.”

“The movement will NOT DIE. I refuse to let that happen.”

“All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband’s name, and I will make sure of it. It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever.”

The movement will also not die because Charlie’s show, radio show, tours, and AmericaFest will continue:

“My husband’s voice will remain, and ring out louder and more clearly than ever. And his wisdom will endure.”

The worst part, though, was recalling how she had to tell their daughter that Charlie wasn’t coming home:

“[Our daughter said] ‘Mommy, I missed you.’ I said, I missed you too. She goes, ‘where’s daddy?’ She’s 3.”

“I said, ‘Baby, daddy loves you so much. He’s on a work trip with Jesus, so he can afford your blueberry budget.'”

Many people would lose their faith. Not Erika:

Erika Kirk: “Our world is filled with evil. But our God is so good. He’s so incredibly good. And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good for those that are called according to his purpose.”

I don’t know about y’all but I would still be blubbering incoherently if I were walking a mile in her shoes.

God bless her and her kids.

The demands of modern soap opera to entertain the masses.

Seems rather insensitive to expect, demand or even show an interest in.

I learned long ago that there is no normal reaction to an abnormal situation. Only she knows the extent of what she and her children are going through. Everyone else, give them grace.

Charlie’s murder effective so many people all over the world

And the roaches crawled out of their holes

Know them by their deeds

There is trepidation where all this is going. No one should forget it’s Judeo-Christian.

That does not mean opposition. Forgot this is social media.

Sorry ….we’ve run out of cheeks to turn right now. It’s more like Viking/Germanic time for self-preservation. The hate and attacks by the Left are ratcheting up. We aren’t going to go peacefully into the colosseum..thank you.

Not turning about turning cheeks. The Judeo part is not about turning cheeks. However, there are seen and unforseen consequences that can take best intentions and throw them who knows where. No doubt the whirlwind has commenced. And it, too, can turn to excess. If history and human nature teaches anything, As such, there’s nothing wrong with trepidation.

Kudos to Erika. Speaking from personal experience, you find the courage to do what you believe the moment requires.

I am Christian, but not religious, and barely knew of Charlie Kirk from occasional appearances on FOX; and not at all of his millions of followers. That said, I have been struck by the possible parallel with another martyr who died at a similar age 2,000 years ago and whose disciples changed history. It would really be something if this could be a “turning point” in the obvious moral decline of our country.

what does “I am Christian, but not religious” mean?

It means one identifies with the faith, believes in its tenets, but, isn’t devout in the manner of regularly attending services, quoting scripture, etc.

Or you can see religion as an allegory of strictly secular moral truths, which resonate because they are true, i.e. the way humans are built. That in turn makes the religion attractive even if this is not understood. Ostriches don’t care for their young at all. They’re built differently. As Job points out.

      She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

as the religion itself points out, a sort of self-reference about its foundation.

Unapologetically I admit to hitting the Kleenex box several times as she spoke. It’s hard not to when your eyes leak so much they overflow into your nose.
.

She is the beautiful hero we need right now, inside and out.

May God’s grace follow her and their children the rest of their days.

as israel is proving at the moment

there can be no peace until those who are willing to sacrifice themselves for evil are
put to bed

As The Bablyon Bee said, there are now 12 million Charlie Kirks. He is remembered in France, Italy, and South Korea. And probably elsewhere as well. The assassin just lit a match under a pile of gunpowder.
