Houthi ‘Prime Minister’ and Top Brass Killed in Israeli Airstrike, Terror Group Admits
Houthis’ so-called Prime Minister “Ahmed al-Rahawi was killed in a Thursday strike in Sanaa along with a number of ministers.”
Houthi ‘Prime Minister,’ Ahmed al-Rahawi, and several ministers of his cabinet were eliminated in a recent Israeli airstrike, the Yemen-based Iranian proxy terrorist group confessed on Sunday.
Al-Rahawi is the senior-most Houthi operative to be killed since the Islamic terror group declared war on Israel 21 months ago.

Amid speculations, the Houthis did not reveal if their defense minister and military chief were also taken out in the strike.
“The prime minister of Yemen’s Houthi government and several other ministers were killed in an Israeli strike on the capital Sana, the news agency run by the group said on Saturday, citing a statement by the head of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat,” Reuters reported. “Mashat’s statement did not make clear whether the Houthi defence minister was among the casualties.”
Some 20 senior Houthi military and political officials are believed to have been killed in Israeli strikes on Sana’a on Thursday, the Houthi’s Information Ministry spokesperson Osama al-Sharmi tells Al-Arabiya.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) took out the Houthis’ top terror brass by utilizing a narrow window of opportunity provided by intelligence on the ground, news reports suggest. “Military officials said the strike took advantage of a “narrow intelligence window” for a precise operation,” the Israeli news website Ynetnews reported Friday. “The operation, dubbed Drop of Luck, relied on real-time intelligence and was conducted at significant distance from the target by a joint intelligence and air force team.”
“The decision was approved by IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and Defense Minister Israel Katz in consultation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” the news outlet added.

The Associated Press reported Houthis’ admission:
The Houthis said Saturday an Israeli airstrike killed the prime minister of the rebel-controlled government in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, the most senior Houthi official killed in the Israeli-U.S. campaign against the Iranian-backed rebels.
Ahmed al-Rahawi was killed in a Thursday strike in Sanaa along with a number of ministers, the rebels said in a statement. Other ministers and officials were wounded, the statement added without providing further details. (…)
Thursday’s Israeli strike occurred as the rebels-owned television station was broadcasting a speech for Abdul Malik al-Houthi, the secretive leader of the rebel group where he was sharing updates on the latest Gaza developments and vowing retaliation against Israel. Senior Houthi officials used to gather to watch al-Houthi’s pre-recorded speeches.
The strike that killed the prime minister targeted a meeting for Houthi leaders in a villa in Beit Baws, an ancient village in southern Sanaa, three tribal leaders told The Associated Press. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they feared repercussions.
On Thursday, the Israeli Air Force struck several Houthi targets in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. The retaliatory strike came days after the Iran-backed terrorist group fired a ballistic missile with cluster ammunition for the first time in the conflict.
According to Arab media reports, an Israeli fighter jet hit at least 10 terror targets in and around Yemen’s capital, Sanaa. Without naming the objective of the strike, the IDF reported Thursday that it “precisely struck a Houthi terrorist regime military target in the area of Sanaa in Yemen.”
Hours following the strike, the Israel Hayom newspaper quoted a “[s]ecurity source,” claiming “[o]ne of the targets was a meeting of senior Houthi officials.”
The Houthis, whose slogan says: “Allah is the Greatest, Death to America, Death to Israel, A Curse upon the Jews, Victory to Islam,” declared war on Israel in November 2023, a month after Hamas’s October 7 massacre. The Iranian proxy terrorist group has since fired hundreds of missiles and drones at Israel.
During the 12-Day War in June 2025, the Houthis joined Iran’s attacks on Israel, firing a barrage of missiles and drones in a bid to overwhelm Israeli air defenses and kill civilians. As part of their jihad on Israel, they disrupted international maritime trade in the Red Sea, forcing ships to reroute around Africa instead of using the shorter Suez Canal route.
Despite an agreement brokered by President Donald Trump, the Houthis continued launching missiles and drones at Israel. “The Trump administration announced a deal with the Houthis to end the airstrikes in return for an end to attacks on shipping in May,” the France24 TV channel observed. “The rebels, however, said the agreement did not include halting attacks on targets it believed were aligned with Israel.”

Donald Trump should’ve insisted that the Yemenis cease firing missiles at Israel. According to the woke Right Israel controls America?
What a shame? What will the world do without these murdering scumbags?
The only good Islamofascist/Muslim terrorist is a dead Islamofascist/Muslim terrorist.
Hmmmph. It’s almost as if Islamofascists are… f***ing communists.
The world really needs to be exposed to information concerning the former Soviet Union’s intentionally destabilizing activities undertaken in the Middle East and their long term repercussions still very much being experienced today.
