Judicial Watch received memos from the Department of Homeland Security through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, showing the department and the FBI had concerns about Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s connections to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
The concerns grew after Vice President Kamala Harris chose him as her VP pick.
DHS and FBI had reason for concern:

The day after Harris announced Walz as her VP, one person wrote, “China is happy.” They linked to a BBC article about how China reacted to the news.
Another wrote: “Wal[z]’s got the Vp. You all have no idea how this feeds into what prc [People’s Republic of China] has been doing here with him and local gov. It’s seriously a line of the intel. Target someone who is perceived they can get to DC.”
One person replied to the comment: “I think this conversation is FOIA-able…”
Oh yes, it is.
In 1989, Walz taught high school English and American history in Guangdong under the Harvard University volunteer program.
A top Communist official’s daughter detailed the secret fling she had with Walz while he taught in China.
Walz married his wife, Gwen, on June 4, the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests. Gwen said, “He wanted to have a date he’ll always remember.”
Their honeymoon? Yeah, they “led dozens of American students on a tour through China.”

Another suggested a component and CITF [FBI’s Criminal Investigation Task Force].
A person replied, “[W]ith FBI mission in the CI [Counterintelligence Division] field i [sic] believe they need to be included.”
“This is every bit as important as the Russiagate disclosures. The Biden gang obviously covered this all up to try to help rig the election,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told Just the News.
