Campus Intifada Returns – Frustrated Activists Likely To Lash Out This Fall
There is a growing frustration on the part of anti-Israel, anti-American, Anti-Capitalist activists that their antics have achieved nothing. Some will lash out.

Jewish students should expect to be confronted by more pro-Hamas mobs and antisemitism when returning to college this fall, says JNS editor-in-chief Jonathan Tobin. With legacy media mainstreaming Hamas propaganda and blood libels against Israel, it’s likely that the surge of antisemitism throughout American education that began after the Hamas-led Palestinian Arab attacks on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, will continue in the coming months.
He’s joined in the week’s episode of “Think Twice” by Cornell Law professor and Legalinsurrection.com founder William Jacobson, who says it’s “going to be a very hot fall,” with respect to anti-Israel activity. Jacobson believes that the pro-Hamas movement is in retreat as a result of Trump’s crackdown, which has caused many schools to act swiftly to quash antisemitism on campus, lest they lose federal funding.
But given the widespread belief in the lies about Israel committing “genocide” in Gaza, antisemitic groups like Students for Justice in Palestine will be even more aggressive than in the past two years. It will be up to colleges and universities to ensure that those who break the rules and engage in illegal activity in the name of “Palestine” are held accountable.
Israel-haters have, Jacobson says, co-opted the entire left-wing movement, sidelining causes like Black Lives Matter and making activism for the destruction of Israel their main goal. This movement is being aided with funding from Qatar and other malign actors and is also seeking to co-opt the right via influencers like former Fox News TV host Tucker Carlson.
But their main target is America itself—and not just the Jews. As Jacobson says, “if you wanted to destroy the United States from inside, what would you do differently than the left and now the Islamists are doing to our educational system, which is pitting students against each other based on skin color and identity group? And that’s what the mainstream Jewish community refuses to address.”
Jacobson says that Trump’s attempts to broker deals with universities like Harvard and Columbia are having an impact on the spread of antisemitism, in part, because of the decline in foreign students who have been a big part of the problem. But he cautions that enforcement of the provisions of those agreements is key, since these institutions are hoping to wait out Trump and go back to their discriminatory policies once he leaves office.
The key to the problem is ridding the system of the plague of the woke catechism of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), which is at the core of the spread of anti-Jewish prejudice because it falsely identifies Jews and Israel as “white” oppressors. He criticized those mainstream liberal Jewish groups that refuse to oppose DEI.
Jacobson said he’s not sure whether the education system can be saved. “We need to now figure out how we protect ourselves from the universities, not how we reform the universities. I do not believe that universities can reform themselves, at least not the so-called elite universities where we’re having most of these problems.”

The universities aren’t bending the knee to Trump. They are playing out the clock waiting for someone anti-Isreal or just disinterested to get elected. Then they were bring back DEI out of where they stashed it and the vile foreign students and then just look the other way.
What I want is permanent changes. Board of directors replaced. Administrators fired. Teachers kicked to the curb. Foreign students deported. Woke departments shuttered. Unions disbanded. This won’t happen and they will fight tooth and nail to prevent it because they love their little empires and their pet woke causes.
The thing is, with J. D. Vance waiting in the wings, the universities are likely doomed to disappointment.
I’m confident that with the Dhimmi-crats arrogantly doubling down on their pro-tranny, pro-illegal alien, pro-criminal, pro-Hamas/Islamofascist/Muslim terrorist, anti-prosperity, anti-growth, anti-job agenda, and, with all of the Dhimmi-crat clowns-apparent peddling utterly unappealing personas and agendas, Vance will serve two terms as president, which, appended to #47’s second term, will create a 12-year MAGA renaissance of American sanity, prosperity, renewal and security.
I do not share your optimism. In fact, I wonder if we need Marco Rubio, “our first Hispanic President”, at the top of the ticket in 2028 to attract extra ethnic votes.

Universities are left wing incubators and it’s where they retreat and regroup when they’re out of power. It’s vital to disrupt and destroy their “safe spaces” so there’s nowhere left for them to hide.
That is a dangerous game for universities to play given the current state of the Democrat party with no salvation anywhere in the horizon. They’ve got this Trump term to survive through, plus Trumps third term 😜 and then two terms of Vance to get through.
I’m guessing two different things are coming in the next year. First, students (and fake students infiltrated into rallies and protests) will take the needle from 11 (now) to about 20, burn buildings, riot, and other assorted violent methods they have used to such good effect. Second, the school administrators and students will react with horror, and getting these violent loons locked up will become a priority. (And third, as usual, means whatever threads of conservative influence manage to get into the college bloodstream will be ruthlessly eliminated and expunged once the heat dies down.)
1B. Rallies and protests will spill off of the campus into the general community where – in some areas – people have exhausted whatever tolerance they might have had for such antics and will begin to shoot back.
How hard will the peasantry have to fight the police.
They would have started that already if they could just get the National Guard or somebody to lose control and beat them hard or better yet (from the point of view of Trantifa) shoot someone.
They’ve probably already written the propaganda they’ll spew the second they get that Kent State moment. In the end, they may just decide to fake it.

To be fair, when you are both young and ignorant, the bar which measures achievement is pretty pretty low. It was fun to point out to the defund the po po people that all they accomplished was to make themselves less safe.
In other good news. the price of ammo is coming down.
These groups have become the storm troopers of the Democrat party. Historically, one could understand the appeal of the D party because it supposedly looked out for average, working-class citizens. Having abandoned those principles, it is hard to see how it stands for anything other than insurrection.

Sure. Some kids clearly do buy it, but a large percentage of the electorate did as well. That seems to be changing as the electorate becomes more aware of those facts (and media deceptions), hence more desperation and more violence from the Ds.

It seems like only yesterday I put my “protect trans kids” decorations up.
There is a significant fraction of our population that is hard left, and will never give up their obsession with transforming the US by first destroying it. Their increasingly blatant radicalism has made it more difficult for them to attract enough support from the saner majority to rule democratically, despite the widespread use of fraud and propaganda generated by the declining leftist media, except in certain geographical and cultural settings. They have managed to secure and maintain control in some highly urbanized environments, in Academia, amongst federal employees and from some of the wealthy elites. They will cause as much chaos as possible in those demographics, hoping that it will generalize, or provoke overreactions that can be exploited. They are still hoping for a fortuitous catastrophe to help this along, such as Covid, and are capable of generating some mayhem, so that should be addressed preemptively whenever possible. Part of that response might be to back off on our attempts to save them from themselves and let the consequences speak for themselves.

Yes, the antics of the far left are achieving something. The violence and anger they are showing are boosting Donald Trump and the Republicans. What they are doing is counter productive. They never seem to learn that things like taking over buildings, chaining themselves together on freeways, and burning and looting, have turned Americans in great numbers who were once Democrats to moving toward Republicans.
These cretins will never get outside the College or University area, they will be treated like the scum they are. Clubs and such are in their future if they enter the wrong neighborhood.
