President Donald Trump has slashed the timetable for Russian President Vladimir Putin to reach a peace deal with Ukraine.
“I’m going to make a new deadline of about ten or twelve days from today… there’s no reason in waiting… I want to be generous but we just don’t see any progress being made,” Trump said during a meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Trump gave Putin a 50 day headline on July 14 when he met with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

“I’m very disappointed,” said Trump. “I’m disappointed in President Putin, very disappointed in him.”
Russia dropped over 300 drones and missiles on Kyiv, wounding five people.
Russia also struck the Khmelnytskyi and Kirovohrad regions.

Meh I suspect that the more boisterous in calling for ‘action’ won’t appreciate imposing the secondary sanctions on Nations/Companies that do business with Russia. The economic impact and social disruption to Nations that buy Russian energy, grain, fertilizer, minerals will be substantial. I am absolutely sure 99.9% of these same folks won’t be lined up as volunteers to serve as Ukrainian cannon fodder. Our own weapons and munitions stocks in several categories is running thin and we can’t ramp up production fast enough to replace what’s already been handed out to Ukraine.

There are several ways a POTUS could end that proxy war in 24 hours but more peaceful means should be tried first. Bidens problem is that he was sending money and not even trying. No pressure and huge price tags that were being funneled to slush money here. Most of the promised aid didn’t even get sent.

With Putin it won’t matter. Enough Russian generals who might get fed up with so many losses for very little gain might organize an event whereby Putin accidently shoots himself in the back of the head while falling from the window of tall building. That might change things a little.
