Tennessee Republican Rep. Calls for Investigation of Belmont U Over Continued DEI Policies

“The employee admits it’s a DEI program, and they changed the language used by them. He also said undocumented students attend the university.”

An employee at this school was allegedly caught admitting that they just changed the words, not the policy. There’s a lot of that going around right now.

WSMV News reports:

Tennessee congressman calls for investigation into Belmont University

Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles is calling for a federal investigation into Belmont University.

Ogles wants the U.S. Department of Education to determine if the university is violating President Trump’s executive order banning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

It comes following footage being leaked by Townhall, a conservative media organization, appearing to show a secret recording with a school employee.

The employee could be heard allegedly discussing Belmont’s Office of Hope, Unity & Belonging, known also as The Hub.

The employee admits it’s a DEI program, and they changed the language used by them. He also said undocumented students attend the university.

Congressman Ogles wants the Department of Education to review if Belmont is in compliance with Trump’s executive order, and to clarify if name changes constitute violation of the law.

In a statement to WSMV4, Belmont University responded Ogles’ claims, saying in part:

“We are deeply saddened that these videos portray Belmont as having a “shadow operation” as nothing could be further from the truth. It’s also disappointing that Rep. Ogles and others perceive such an approach as being representative of Belmont University’s character and values.”

why would they stop??

no one goes to prison

very few are fined and the people actually doing the crime dont face the charges as the Universities will probably give them $$$ when they let them go

and maybe even rehire them
