Kamala Harris Not Running for California Governor
That doesn’t mean she’s going away.
Failed Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris will not run for California governor.
From The Hill:
“In recent months, I have given serious thought to asking the people of California for the privilege to serve as their Governor. I love this state, its people, and its promise. It is my home. But after deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election,” Harris said in a statement.

“I have extraordinary admiration and respect for those who dedicate their lives to public service—service to their communities and to our nation. At the same time, we must recognize that our politics, our government, and our institutions have too often failed the American people, culminating in this moment of crisis,” Harris said. “As we look ahead, we must be willing to pursue change through new methods and fresh thinking—committed to our same values and principles, but not bound by the same playbook.”
So will Harris run for president again? Who knows because it sounds like she doesn’t like the current form of government.

Yeah, totally shocked that a far-leftist doesn’t like what our beloved Founding Fathers left us: A REPUBLIC.
Harris promised to get back into the game and help elect more Democrats.

At this point, Harris couldn’t get elected dog catcher. She wouldn’t be qualified anyway.
This is what you get when you “elect” a moron president in the throes of dementia who promises he’ll select a VP not on qualifications, but on gender and skin color.
You know you’re being swindled when politicians say things like “dedicate our lives to public service,” or maybe Harris swore monkish vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.

Wow. I read that as:
“California is so far gone now that even God couldn’t save it, and the worst career move I could make would be to go down with THAT ship.”
“I wouldn’t be able to withstand another public humiliation. Being married to Doug is enough humiliation as it is.”
As a CA resident, I would have hoped that had she run, she would have lost. But with this state, any D for state office is tough to beat.
As a CA resident … I agree. But … I dunno if we’ve escaped the bullet on this one. Maybe the devil you know is better than the one you don’t. Now we can look forward to an onslaught of wacko D candidates of all sorts of persuasions … like … pink, trans, rainbow, antisemitic, pro Hamas, pro illegal immigration etc. … not to mention your typical clueless idiot of a candidate … which we have more than our share of. I hope we can do better than that … but this is CA … “first to get the worst” as I always say.
She would have lost — to another Democrat. That is why she declined.
She probably has access to polls that show she has absolutely no chance of winning any elected office anywhere in the United States or the U.S. Territories.

She got emails from the people with money telling her she would not get any. I disagree with the subheading. She will be going away. The Democrats want to forget all about her and they want us to forget about her also.
California voters will be unburdened by what (a) has been.
If Dems running for office wanted nothing to do with Biden in the last election I doubt they will want Heels Up Harris anywhere near her.
I do not see a Nixonian resurrection in reputation in her future
I have been seeing clips of Nixon discussing world events years after he left office. Nixon was clearly smart and knowledgeable about the US and the world. He answered directly and succinctly. Kamala is not like Nixon and is much more corrupt than he ever could have imagined being.
A few possibilities:
1] (most likely) She was told there was no support for her and that she wouldn’t receive any funding.
2] She doesn’t want to be in the top spot as the state spirals down into oblivion.
5] (“3, sire”) 3] She’s delusional enough to actually think she has a shot at the White House in 2028.
4- It’s work. That’s kryptonite to a wine auntie.
To win CA governor, she would have to get through a Jungle Primary and then the top 2 go to the General Election. The odds are she would have lost to another Democrat, in either the Primary or the General.
This was a missed opportunity for Republicans. They should have backed her.
