Israel Recalls Hostage Negotiating Team From Qatar as Hamas Makes New Demands
The Ynetnews: “Hamas has backtracked on several agreements in the negotiations on a ceasefire and the release of hostages.”
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recalled the Israeli hostage negotiations team from Doha, Qatar, after the terrorist group Hamas backtracked on previous agreements and demanded the release of more terrorists in exchange for the remaining Israeli captives.
“Israel brought its delegation home from Gaza ceasefire talks for consultations on Thursday after Hamas delivered a new response to a proposal for a truce and hostages deal,” Reuters reported. “The Israeli Prime Minister’s office thanked mediators for their efforts and said the negotiators were returning home for ‘further consultations.'”

Israeli negotiating team is returning from Qatar after Hamas rejected the latest ceasefire proposal.
"We appreciated the efforts of the mediators Qatar and Egypt and the efforts of [U.S.] Envoy Witkoff to bring a breakthrough in the talks," Netanyahu's office said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu fell short of declaring the breakdown of the hostage talks, The Times of Israel reported:
After Hamas responds to the latest ceasefire and hostage release proposal, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is bringing the hostage negotiating team back from Qatar to “continue consultations in Israel,” says his office in a statement.
“We appreciate the efforts of mediators Qatar and Egypt and the efforts of [US special envoy Steve] Witkoff to bring about a breakthrough in the talks,” says the PMO.
It’s unclear from the statement whether the development points to a breakdown in talks.
Hamas has raised its demands by asking for the release of hundreds of murderous terrorists, more than previously agreed upon under the proposal worked out by White House Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.
The jihadist group also wants the U.S.-backed aid group, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, to be ousted from Gaza, and the border crossing with Egypt, the main terrorist supply route, to be reopened.
“Hamas has backtracked on several agreements in the negotiations on a ceasefire and the release of hostages, raising new demands including the release of 150 prisoners serving life sentences and an additional 2,000 detainees arrested after October 7,” the Israel news website Ynetnews reported.
“These new demands contradict the mediators’ proposal regarding the key issues of prisoner release, which mentioned releasing 125 prisoners serving life sentences and 1,200 detainees arrested after October 7. Israel said the new demand is unacceptable, as are demands to remove the GHF humanitarian aid fund, reopen the Rafah crossing and more,” the news outlet added.
The ouster of the GHF aid group will pave the way for aid delivery to be made by the United Nations and other international organizations. According to an estimate, Hamas made up to a billion dollars skimming off aid from the UN and other international groups in 2024 alone.
The UN, which has been deeply infiltrated by Hamas in Gaza, has refused to work together with the GHF, Israeli media reported Wednesday.
Here are photos of UN trucks & enough food to feed all of Gaza but it sits rotting! UN is a tool of Hamas! US based GHF is actually delivering food FOR FREE and SAFELY. UN food is either looted by Hamas or rots in the sun! Photos from yesterday. pic.twitter.com/syvtbhxYHJ

IDF eliminates ‘key’ Hamas weapons smuggler
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday eliminated the leading Hamas terrorist operative running the weapons smuggling operation between Gaza and Egypt.
“Earlier today (…), the IDF struck and eliminated the Hamas terrorist Muhammad al-‘Amour in the area of Khan Yunis,” the military disclosed in a statement Thursday. “Al-‘Amour was responsible for the goods terminal at the Rafah Crossing. In this role, he oversaw the smuggling of hundreds of weapons and military equipment into the Gaza Strip, directly contributing to Hamas’ military buildup.”
The IDF announced it had eliminated Muhammad al-‘Amour, a key Hamas terrorist responsible for overseeing the smuggling of weapons into Gaza through the Rafah Crossing's goods terminal.

Al-‘Amour’s elimination highlights why Hamas wants Israel to withdraw troops from the Rafah crossing. The slain terrorist “played a key role in the smuggling network of Hamas’ military wing, coordinating and leading efforts to bring weapons into the Gaza Strip and to Hamas with the help of collaborators,” the military said.
Hamas wants to regain control of the Philadelphi corridor, the nine-mile strip separating Egypt from Gaza. When the Israeli troops first moved into Rafah in the wake of the October 7 massacre, the corridor was riddled with secret terror tunnels. The IDF detected and destroyed most of those tunnels.
“For years, the goods terminal [Rafah] served as a gateway for smuggling military equipment and weapons into the Gaza Strip, thus providing support to the terrorist organization in order to advance its military capabilities against the State of Israel,” the IDF explained.
Hamas’s demand to gain control of the Rafah crossing shows the terrorist group’s intention to rebuild its rocket and weapons arsenal as soon as the IDF disengages from Gaza.

“Israel recalls hostage negotiating team”
That’s better than Joe Biden’s team that went before congress. They couldn’t recall anything.
“Hamas has raised its demands by asking for the release of hundreds of murderous terrorists”
Execute everyone they they want released, explain that is release to their reward of 72 shriveled up 1400 year old virgins.
And why did Egypt turn a blind eye to all the smuggling going on? While the Egyptian-lsraeli peace agreement seemed like a major breakthrough, it is turning out to be more like Oslo. Israel gave up Sinai, and has gotten bubkas in return. Moral of the story: Agreements with Arabs are quite temporary. Israel should not give up anything it has gained in this war.
What Israel got was the end of a shooting war for 50 years. They also have a somewhat working relationship with Egyptian government although the Egyptian populace hates Israel (and they arent the only ones).
Give it a while. Egypt has been slowly increasing its military presence in Sinai, in violation of the peace treaty. After Gaza, Israel needs to demand a pullback. If Egypt doesn’t comply, Israel needs to be prepared for another ’73-type attack.
No Arabs,Muslims. Ms can and do lie anytime, anywhere, anyway regardless of situation. They lie until they can regroup. Has been so since the days of Mohammed. It will never change because it’s in their core docs. It’s their faith and the way of Allah. Yes there are honest Muslims who may not lie but one gambles in every situation.
I remember when movies, cartoons, even Disney, portrayed Arabs as they are.
No surprise about this. Euroweenies, china, russia, muslims, and progressive will scream more, but what can you do?
Impose a blockade. Start burning tires soaked in diesel surrounded by Styrofoam in any tunnels. Roll up a couple Artillery BN and a bunch of mortars and begin a continuous 24/7 bombardment. Maybe start in the North and work South. No building spared or off limits. Announce the general area 12 hours prior and if anyone is still there that’s on them or their family for not getting them out. Once complete fire bomb the rubble and bulldoze the rubble out into the Med to make a jetty or artificial reef for fish or whatever.
cause expecting hamas to want peace is like expecting blmplo to work a real job
Hamas has raised its demands….Hamas has backtracked on several agreements in the negotiations…
Thank you, Hamas. Full speed ahead in Gaza, Israel.
It would be wise to take the opportunity to occupy the rest of Gaza ending the Hamas presence and find the families to hand over Gaza to afterwards.
Its time for Israel to change demands. All terrorists in Israel custody henceforth shall remain in custody for at least 50 percent of sentence.
Israel will agree to return one non violent terrorist for each surviving Israeli hostage within the next 48 hours. Two dead terrorists remans will be returned for each current deceased Israeli hostage. Israel will not stop any Gazan civilians who want to cross the Rafah into Egypt. After a reasonable delaythe Rafah tunnel will be flooded. UN food trucks to be turned over to IDF to be searched and delivered to Gaza civilian’s . Any truck found to contain military supplies for Hamas will be burned. Gaza was given to Palestinians in trade of land fir peace. There has been no peace for over 20 years. So Palestinians living on Gaza must be returned to the land of their origin. They have given up rights to the land because of continued violence. The UN can provide third party ships to relocate the population since the UN was responsible for arming and funding Hamas. The UN based on it’s failures has no further input on Gaza.
