Former Biden Chief of Staff Cooperating With Congressional Investigators

Rep. Biggs: “In my opinion, he is not trying to avoid answering the questions. He’s answering the questions carefully.”

Lawmakers said former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain has cooperated with their investigation into a cover-up regarding former President Joe Biden’s mental decline.

From Fox News:

Klain, who ran Biden’s White House for the first two years of his term, is currently sitting down with staff on the House Oversight Committee as part of Chair James Comer’s probe into whether top administration aides covered up signs of decline in the former president while he was in office.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., told reporters roughly an hour into the session that Klain “answered every question” that Republicans put forward.

“I found Mr. Klain to be very credible. He answered every single question. He was fully cooperative. There are times where he was asked about personal conversations he had with the president, and he was forthcoming,” Khanna said.

“I really appreciate his candor and the comprehensive way he had answered every question.”

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) thinks “he is telling what he knows accurately” and “trying to be accurate.”

“In my opinion, he is not trying to avoid answering the questions. He’s answering the questions carefully. He’s saying the things that I kind of expected him to say,” added Biggs. “But he’s been answering the questions, I think, forthrightly and in the way he sees the world.”

Klain is the sixth person the Oversight Committee has questioned. Jill Biden’s “work husband” and Biden’s doctor pleaded the Fifth. Senior advisor Annie Tomasini also pleaded the Fifth.

The lawmakers had to subpoena those three.

Klain is the third person to voluntarily show up.

Klain, isn’t he an Obama leftover?

Yes, but not a major player.

Most of the Biden Administration was. Klain was a bit unusual in that his roots are with Cilnton/Gore. He then found himself several positions in Obama’s admin, finally settling as Biden’s CoS for several years. If anyone knows where the bodies are buried, it’s him…which makes it interesting he’s cooperative.

Seems odd that he would throw Joe under the bus. You are right, he is a pivotal part of the progressive left’s plan.

Joe was a potato. Klain may be throwing those under the bus who concealed that fact. I’m sure Joe always considered himself sharp as a tack, so he may not be throw-under-the-busable, having no role in the coverup of his own mental status.

Are Dems soiling their drawers now?

“… he’s been answering the questions, … in the way he sees the world.”

That doesn’t sound like he’s being at all honest. It sounds like he’s spinning furiously.

The big deal is he was there for the first two years, not the last two when Joe tapped out.
