Border Czar Homan: Border Patrol Only Encountered 6,070 Illegal Aliens in June

Plus, those in Nogales, Mexico, have found “unexpected peace” during Trump’s second administration.

Holy moly.

Is our southern border finally secured? It sure sounds like it.

Border Czar Tom Homan announced on X that the border patrol only encountered 6,070 illegal aliens in June:

THE TRUMP EFFECT – Total Border Patrol encounters for the entire month of June 2025 was 6,070. That is less than a single day under Biden. As a matter of fact, the total number of encounters is less than half of a single day under Biden
on many days. Also, none of the 6,070 were released into the U.S. ZERO. President Trump has created the most secure border in the history of the nation and the data proves it. We have never seen numbers this low. Never. God bless the men and women of the US Border Patrol and God bless the men and women of ICE. The interior arrests and consequences help to drive down illegal immigration. The TRUMP EFFECT keeps America winning.
~ Thomas D. Homan
U.S. Border Czar

The news gets better. From The New York Post:

The total released by Homan marks a 93.1% drop in nationwide Border Patrol encounters from June 2024, when 87,606 migrants were nabbed trying to enter the country illegally.

It’s also a 94% and 97% decline from June 2023 and June 2022, when, respectively, 100,606 and 193,027 migrants were encountered by Border Patrol.

In June 2022, the average daily total of migrant encounters was about 6,434 per day.

Wait! There’s more!

Those in Nogales, Mexico, have found “unexpected peace” during Trump’s second administration.

The town is located on the Mexico-Arizona border, just 71.5 miles south of Tucson. From Fox News:

“Drug trafficking has been controlled a lot, there’s barely any now. It’s not like it used to be,” Filiberto, a Mexican native who owns a photography business right outside the walkable entry point into Mexico, said.

Juan, an entrepreneur at a local eatery, told Fox News Digital, “We’ve gone through very tough times because, although right now — this past year, these last two years — there’s been some calm in terms of insecurity, in earlier times we had a lot of problems.”

“I don’t know if it’s the same or worse — in truth, I don’t know. But there’s a lot that’s very bad,” Angelica, a local flower shop owner, said. “Here in my neighborhood, in my surroundings, yes, I live peacefully, thank God.”

Some credited Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, but also believe that the relationship between Mexico and America have helped.

Either way, hardly anyone has tried to cross:

“There aren’t as many people wanting to cross the border anymore… There used to be a lot, but things have calmed down a lot,” food vendor Juan said. “The National Guard is watching the Mexico–U.S. border closely… the [number of] people who used to come from the south in caravans have decreased a lot. In fact, we’ve never had as much calm as we do today.”

Long-time Nogales resident Filiberto reflected on how crossing the border has changed over the past three decades.

“There was a lot of camaraderie, a sense of community. We used to cross into the U.S. without a problem, two, three, four, five times a day — without any obstacles. The problem started when the U.S. began putting up barriers, both for visa procedures and even for crossing,” he said.

Well, Filiberto, if former President Joe Biden’s administration hadn’t messed up so bad I’m pretty sure it would still be easy for people like you to cross during the day and go back.

Biden ruined everything. Considering everything that happened it’s safe to assume that those who cross want to stay and feed off the system.

Super. We didn’t need a bill. That was all a lie.

Hopefully the voters of Oklahoma will remember that SEN Lankford tried to create a ‘bipartisan’ immigration agreement that would have been a vast giveaway to the d/prog and vote his butt out of office.

      This. 100%.

Because the Dems are just waiting for a chance to try this again and the RINOs can’t wait to surrender to the Dems again.

mailman in reply to Close The Fed. | July 2, 2025 at 6:28 pm

Turns out all that was needed was a new President 😂

And I’ll say it again.

NEVER FORGET literally 1 year ago the RINO crew tried to sell us out claiming allowing 5000 illegals per day, every day, forever, was the only way to ‘fix’ the border, and Trump was horrible and evil and just ‘wanted to run on the issue’.

NEVER FORGET just how many tried to gaslight us that it was a perfect beautiful border bill that ‘fixed’ the border.

“If the Democrats proposed burning down the Library of Congress, the GOP would counter with a plan to burn it down over ten years.”

Someone should ask Schumer how the border is secure now after he stood up in presser after presser claiming the only way to do it was by jamming that legislation down our throats.

Once we clear the illegal aliens out of Alligator Alcatraz, those in the Biden Administration responsible for purposefully leaving our borders wide open for political gain should be tried, convicted and sentenced to spend the remainder of their lives boiling in the hot Everglade sun.

They deserve a lot worse.

Some federal district judge just deemed Trump’s closure of the border – specifically the cessation of ‘asylum program’ to be unlawful…even though the statutory language is quite clear. It vests absolute authority with POTUS.

JackinSilverSpring in reply to TargaGTS. | July 2, 2025 at 4:51 pm

Another day, another district judge disobeying the law, another appeal to the Supreme Court.

Interestingly, the judge used the EXACT maneuver Alito, in his concurring opinion, warned ACB would be used because she failed to address it in her majority opinion that aimed to reduce the scope and numbers of these insane nationwide injunctions. This judge has certified a class of litigants (in the class action suit) that he describes thusly: “all individuals … subject to the Proclamation … and who are now or will be present in the United States.”

The judge is essentially saying every person on the planet is part of this class he’s created that are now covered under the jurisdiction of his injunction.

Great. Now kick the 20-40 million illegals out of the US starting with the criminals and closely followed by those acting as activists and the DACA “kids”. There is nothing more annoying to me than people making demands who don’t have any standing to make them and exist on our suffrage and tax dollars.

People did go back-and-forth, but more people stayed then went back. We had 20 million illegals here before Biden opened up the border.

The was a shooting at one of the Nogales Ports of Entry last night. A recent deportee was caught last Friday as an OFC (Oral False Claim) and excluded back to Mexico Lindo.
Last night he came back through the vehicle lanes, on foot, throwing rocks at the booths the officers are in. He just missed hitting an Officer. An Officer shot him twice to stop his dangerous actions.
My last info says he’s handcuffed to a hospital bed.

A couple years ago, we chose to vacation in the Bisbee/Douglas area of Arizona just to experience that part of our state. We were strolling down the street that led to the international bridge just as school let out. We were immediately struck by seeing the line of kids leaving the school and walking across the bridge to Mexico. I wondered how Arizona public schools were educating Mexican kids. Turns out you are supposed to pay out of state tuition to do that, which runs about $4,000/year. Students from Minnesota get charged that. Students from Mexico? Well, not so much. In fact, often nothing at all.

Don’t take it on my say-so. Here’s a short recording from a public meeting explaining it:

The feds well, the state and the feds says the only thing that we have to do when they bring us a piece of paper that says this is their address…The law stops us from checking where a person lives. They just they they tell us what we we’re not supposed to ask if they’re illegal or not, etcetera, etcetera. That’s a that’s that’s a law thing… So anyway, that’s out of our power. That nobody wants to deal with.

You have no idea of the thousands of US citizen children who cross the border to attend schools along the border. I worked a case in East San Diego County 30 years ago where 6 bus loads filled up every day with kids to go to school at the Tecate, CA. POE.
The fraud investigation showed dozens of Mexicans paying families for their physical addresson the US side of the border. Of course all in cash and under the table.
The school district lost 300 students and more importantly the daily ADA monies.
Imagine every POE where these events happen daily.

In El Paso it seemed pretty brazen. In the pick up and drop off line at schools lots of cars with Mexican Plates. They’d come across the border in the AM, drop kids at school, go to work in El Paso, pick the kids up in the afternoon and go home. The local Wal-Mart grocery was supposedly the highest grossing store, parking lot filled with Mexican plated vehicles. There’s far more cross border traffic than folks who haven’t lived in a border area can appreciate, seeing black/white stats on paper is one thing but viewing it live, in color and IRL is when the scale sinks in.

There something else; at least at the Laredo Walmart. In the restrooms are signs (in symbols) telling the Mexicans to not throw their poopy toilet paper on the floor.

Diversity is our strength, by golly.

diver64 in reply to Dolce Far Niente. | July 3, 2025 at 6:18 am

Those signs are common in the vegetable warehouses and potato sheds in NC not to mention hog and chicken operations. They show someone squatting on top of a toilet with an X through it and then a garbage can with another X.

Trump has now deported a total of 300 illegal aliens to Panama. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!

henrybowman in reply to JR. | July 2, 2025 at 7:10 pm

Why the hardon about Panama in particular, Junior? Did they deport your organic buttplug dealer?

Probably because they were Panamanians, dumbass.

Border Czar Homan: Border Patrol Only Encountered 6,070 Illegal Aliens in June

… out of how many total?

henrybowman in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | July 2, 2025 at 7:11 pm

Are you asking how many got around them without being seen?
How do you expect them to have a number for that?

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to henrybowman. | July 2, 2025 at 7:43 pm

I’m not asking them to provide a number. Just wondering how many did get around “encounters”.

CommoChief in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | July 2, 2025 at 7:28 pm

I suspect not many getting through unseen anymore now that the overall # dropped and CBP officers ain’t pulled off the border to babysit/process bogus asylum claims and arrange midnight flights into the interior of the Nation.

Now start using database comparisons/cross check to figure out the addresses and workplace of the aliens here. Cross check employment data, SSA, DMV, Voter registration, IRS, Medicaid, K-12 School registration, College registration, any federal or federal/State run ‘welfare program’, Sec 8, SNAP, TANIF and so on…hell check public library cards. Find the addresses, send Agents, go to their employers and investigate the hiring practices to figure out if the illegal alien used ID fraud or the employer was illegally paying them under the table. Then start holding folks accountable with deportation and prosecution.

No exemptions for agriculture or hospitality industry who each have their own special visa authorization process reserved for those industries. Of course those programs require the foreign workers they import to be paid decently and treated fairly and follow all the standard SSA tax, workman comp IN and all the rest …which the one’s whining about ‘losing their workforce’ almost certainly didn’t do if their workforce was composed of illegal aliens.

Trump is winning! Often in spite of the appeasement shackled Republicans, we might add.
