Iran’s Khamenei Rejects U.S. Nuclear Proposal, Vows to Keep Enriching Uranium
Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei: The U.S. and Israel “can’t do a damn thing about” regime’s nuclear weapons program.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has rejected President Donald Trump’s proposal for a new nuclear deal, vowing to keep amassing enriched uranium needed for a weapons program.
Amid fanatic applause and jihadist sloganeering by regime supporters, Khamenei boasted that there wasn’t “a damn thing” the U.S. or Israel could do about Iran’s nuclear program. “Those currently in power, Zionist or American, should be aware that they can’t do a damn thing about this,” he said Wednesday in during a televised speech.
Khamenei, who has the final say on the regime’s all major decisions, dismissed the Trump administration’s key demand that Tehran should stop enriching uranium, a main ingredient in nuclear bombs.
“The rude and arrogant leaders of America repeatedly demand that we should not have a nuclear program,” the Iranian tyrant declared. “Who are you to decide whether Iran should have enrichment?”
By refusing to stop the nuclear program, Khamenei is on a collision course with Washington.
President Trump, on Monday, declared that the U.S. wanted to see an end to Iran’s rogue nuclear enrichment program. “Under our potential Agreement — WE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY ENRICHMENT OF URANIUM!” The president wrote on Truth Social.

The Associated Press reported the Iranian tyrant’s rejection:
Iran’s supreme leader on Wednesday criticized an initial proposal from the United States in negotiations over Tehran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program, though he stopped short of entirely rejecting the idea of agreement with Washington.
The remarks by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei colored in the red line expressed over recent days — one that says Tehran refuses to give up enriching uranium in any possible deal with the U.S.
That demand has been repeatedly made by American officials, including President Donald Trump, though it remains unclear just how much U.S Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff brought it up in his initial proposal to Iran.(…)
Khamenei’s speech on Wednesday, … offered an opportunity to discuss Witkoff’s proposal. He described it as “100% against the idea of ‘we can,’” borrowing from an Iranian government slogan. He described the U.S. as having long sought the dismantling of Iran’s entire nuclear industry.
“The impolite and insolent American leaders keep repeating this demand with different wordings,” Khamenei said.
He added, using a slogan he’s said before: “Those currently in power, Zionist or American, should be aware that they can’t do a damn thing about this.”
The rejection comes after the Trump administration, on Saturday, presented Iranian negotiators a plan for a possible nuclear deal. The White House described the proposed plan as “detailed and acceptable.”
“The U.S. proposal for a new nuclear deal was presented to Iran on Saturday by Oman, which has mediated talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and President Donald Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff,” Reuters noted.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei rejects the recent U.S. nuclear offer, calling it a threat to the regime’s “national independence.”

Iran is hoarding a large stockpile of near weapons-grade enriched uranium, the key raw material for making nuclear bombs.
According to a recent report by the UN nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), ” Iran has amassed 900.8 pounds of uranium enriched up to 60%.408.6 kilograms (900.8 pounds) of uranium enriched up to 60%,” the CBS News reported Saturday. “The 60% enriched material is a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.

Trump has now created the infamous RED LINE where many before him have failed. He now has but one choice and that is to take their nuclear program out! If he waffles here, he will lose alot of respect from both sides.
as we mow down their finances and anyone else who seeks to help iran
possible to limit military if at all needed
You could not find a poorer country than North Korea, which developed them over decades.
Trump will do absolutely nothing, as always. Israel has been ready to get rid of Iran’s nuclear capability, but has refrained from doing so because of Trump. If Iran goes nuclear, it will all happen because of Trump.
Because of Obama the Liar and Quisling Joe the Corrupt.
“If Iran goes nuclear, it will all happen because of Trump.”
Did you have a plate of stupid for supper?
You DO recall “JCPOA” do you not?
That Iran is even close to nuclear weapons is ALL on Bronco Bama and Sleepy Joe.
You really are a chucklehead.
Bombs away.
“Nice nuclear lab you got there. Be a SHAME if you had an accident.”
“Nice centrifugal enrichment center you got there. Be SHAME if the software went haywire yet again and destroyed the entire set of centrifuges you’ve got there.”
Senior Iran official confirms ‘thousands of centrifuges damaged and destroyed’

Thank you for the clarity.
“Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei: The U.S. and Israel “can’t do a damn thing about” regime’s nuclear weapons program.”
Stay tuned.
Either 1) it’s the first time they’ve been honest about it or 2) they have an empty bag and are pretending that they have the goods.* Either way, it’s imprudent not to act as if they do have it.
It’s subtle, isn’t it?
* We went down that path in Iraq about 25 years ago. Remember the WMDS?
🙂
“Iran vows to keep enriching uranium”
Okay, fine. Then they will have to let Israel do it. But Israel will enrich it different way!
It’s unlikely Israel can do what needs to be done…at least not conventionally. IDF doesn’t have any heavy bombers. The F-15 – the fighter/attack aircraft they fly with the biggest payload per hardpoint – could maybe carry a 16K-lb bomb on its centerline. While that’s big, it’s not big enough to penetrate deeply buried installations. For that, they would need our GBU-57A/B MOP (or something like it from their own inventory, if it exists), probably many of them. That bomb is 30K-lbs and can only be carried by the B-52 and B-2 (I don’t think the B-1s can carry them, but I’m not certain).
There are currently no less than 14 B-52s and B-2s currently deployed to Diego Garcia….just waiting.
Well Israel might have another way to take the enrichment lab out. They do have an ICBM although I don’t know how many, They could replace the nuke on it with ballast and launch it at the lab. This would depend upon whether it has enough accuracy and whether the kinetic penetration power would suffice to destroy it,
These underground facilities have some entrance or entrances that lead above ground. Couldn’t those entrances/exits be taken out with conventional (large) bombs, effectively sealing off the facilities like a tomb?
They could do that, presuming there aren’t secondary and tertiary entrances/exits. But, even if successful, it’s likely to be a temporary solution to the problem. If the Iranians can dig the original facilities out of a mountain, they certainly have the wherewithal to dig through a collapsed entrance or two. If the facilities are buried as deeply as is publicly speculated, they’re going to need to collapse the entire facility upon itself, something that can only be done with deeply penetrating ordnance or significant explosive delivered inside (someway) and then detonated. Anything short of that and all that’s accomplish is a setback of some sorts.
They probably have air vents
IDF F-15s can carry the GBU-28. Whether that would be enough is another question.
While that’s big, it’s not big enough to penetrate deeply buried installations.

why kill a roach with a shotgun?–more practical and much easier in nearly every respect to employ a “denial” weapon that could literally be hand-carried into the facility and would render the occupants ready for allah and the facilities/equipment unusable for a couple of hundred years or so?
Israel has dropped 40 GBU guided bombs in succession aimed at the same location. That’s how they took out one of the hezbollah leaders in Lebanon. It’s possible that tactic could penetrate deep enough.
Brought to you by the same left wing crowd that brought you the fascist org antifa.
Live by the atom, die by the atom
Anybody else hear that Fission sound?
Who is the down clicking ahole? At least have some courage to say why your down clicking.
Yeah I thought so.
It’s JR the resident dumbass.
After decades of overt Iranian belligerence (in deeds and in words), brazen and unrepentant global terrorism sponsorship and casual and reflexive deceit and mendacity, western dhimmis in Europe and in the U.S. (from both political parties) still gullibly and naively believe that one can successfully “negotiate” with these genocidal religious fanatics.
The word of a goose-stepping, genocidal Islamofascist/Muslim supremacist/Muslim terrorist is intrinsically worthless. 1,400 years of Islamic history (on top of the contemporary history referenced above) should suffice to have taught that lesson to the west.
After enduring decades of Iran’s overt belligerence and terrorist attacks on U.S. and allied interests, the U.S. would have been justified in launching massive reprisals against Iran at any time during the past forty years.
If military action is deemed tactically imprudent, then, maximum financial pressure and sabotage to support regime change in Iran should be the U.S. policy.
Some journalist should ask this POS ayatollah if he considers it “rude and arrogant” to threaten genocide against Israel and to seek to “wipe it off the map.”
Memo to the Israeli Air Force, you are clear for take off on runway 60R.
Unleash the Jews!
This is good news, actually.
Iran, rather than being a treaty/agreement party benefitting from a level of trust, will instead continue as an enemy that is not trusted at all.
The fanatics of Iran will never believe in peaceful coexistence.
And yet we keep trying
Republicans and democrats alike
Even Trump
Trump is right to HOPE for peace, but he is wrong if he has an expectation for it.
The rulers of Iran want nothing to do with peace, and the sooner EVERYONE understands that, the better.
It should be stated that the level of U-235 enrichment needed for a power plant is 3-5%. Iran is enriching to 60%. I don’t know why they would need to enrich to this level unless they planned to enrich it further and construct nuclear weapons.
From Iran to Russia to China, the message is ‘prove it’.
all I can think about with all the issues with iran is the
obama supported muslim brotherhood and how those branches are now on the campuses blmplo sjp antifa etc and now in our congress with
unapologetic omar and the crew that is slowly building its offensive right in front of our faces
We can expect that either sometime in the next few weeks [if reports of the state of the Iranian fissile stockpile are true] that someone will try to take said stockpile out. There are a number of countries with the ability and motive to do so, but we can be fairly sure that if they are responsible or not that Israel will be blamed. Great unpleasantness over a wide area will result.
If there is no such attempt, it would not be unreasonable to expect that said stockpile will be used by Iran in the next few months. The unpleasantness will be greater and over a wider area. It will not be one sided. Those who have had an involvement in geo-strategic matters are familiar with the difference between counterforce and countervalue targets. This unpleasantness is not going to be restricted to one or the other.
Subotai Bahadur
I have to confess that I was one of the people what Trump’s reaction would be to Iran’s intransigence.
I would like to be the first to say I owe Trump an apology for that, it is wonderful that we have Trump instead of Vance.
Thank you for protecting the United States of America from Iran Donald Trump.
Vance is likely to follow Trump’s reign 🙂
In which case expect a nuclear armed Iran and Russian conquest of all Ukraine, and universal return of piracy around the world after Trump.
Despite some differences on the economy I like Trump, and I like the idea of the United States protecting her interests both economic and security.
It is time to give them free plutonium-239
Nah…they can have the bi products of fission….strontium 90, Iodine 131 and Cesium 137….. Those should keep them warm nicely.. … maybe we should b
name them Bye-‘Products. of fission….better describes their effect
Did he call us insolvent?
