Jill Biden Rescues Joe Biden After He Fumbles Cognitive Decline Question

Oh, boy. Former President Joe Biden needs to stop giving interviews because he makes the Democrats look even worse.

On The View, Alyssa Farrah Griffin asked Joe about the books written about his cognitive decline.

It didn’t end well:

ALYSSA: Mr. President, since you left office, there have been a number of books that have come out deeply sourced from Democratic sources that claim in your final year there was a dramatic decline in your cognitive abilities in the final year of your presidency. What is your response to these allegations? Are these sources wrong?JOE: They are wrong. There’s nothing to sustain that. Number one. Number two, you know, think of what we’re left with. We’re left with a circumstance where we had an insurrection when I started, not since the Civil War. We had a circumstance where we were in a position that we, uh, well, the pandemic because of the incompetence of the last outfit, end up over a million people dying. Million people dying. We’re also in a situation where we found ourselves unable to deal with a lot of just basic issues, which I won’t go into this time. And so we went to work and we got it done. And one of the things that, well, I’ve talked too long.JILL: Alyssa, one of the things I think is that the people who wrote those books were not in the White House with us, and they didn’t see how hard Joe worked every single day.I mean, he’d get up, he put in a full day, and then, at night, I’d be in bed reading my book, and he was still on the phone reading his briefings, working with staff.I mean, it was nonstop. Being president is not like a job. It’s a lifestyle. It’s a life that you live, you live it 24 hours a day. That phone can ring at 11:00 at night or two in the morning. It’s constant. You never leave it.And Joe worked really hard. I think he was a great president. And if you look at things today? If you look at things today, give me Joe Biden anytime.JOE: That’s worth the invitation to come to the show.

Uh, okay. Then why did Joe not schedule anything after 8 PM? Why did we rarely hear from him at night?

Better yet, why did we rarely hear from Joe at any time during the day?

Why did he tell Democratic governors that he needed to work fewer hours?

Look, President Donald Trump stunk during COVID. He should not have listened to those so-called experts. But we also know the left weaponized it against him.

It also doesn’t change the fact that Biden’s administration worsened everything.

One more thing! The CDC said, “The number of deaths for which COVID-19 was the underlying cause of death was 350,831 (10.4% of the total number of deaths in 2020).”

Millions of people didn’t die in America of COVID in 2020, old man.

Also, they weren’t in the White House with you? An author cited Joe’s former chief of staff, Ron Klain, about his cognitive decline, especially around the time of the debate:

Ron Klain served Biden from 2021 to 2023, then returned to his side last June to run debate preparation as he had for numerous Democratic presidents before.According to Klain, it turned out that Biden “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was”; left preparation and fell asleep by the pool; obsessed about foreign leaders, saying “these guys say I’m doing a great job as president so I must be a great president”; “didn’t really understand what his argument was on inflation”; and “had nothing to say about a second term other than finish the job”.As described by Klain to the reporter Chris Whipple, at one point Biden had an idea.“If he looked perplexed when Trump talked, voters would understand that Trump was an idiot. Klain replied: ‘Sir, when you look perplexed, people just think you’re perplexed. And this is our problem in this race.”

Klain also said Biden became obsessed with NATO:

“That evening Biden met again with Klain and his team, [Biden aides] Mike Donilon, Steve Richetti, and Bruce Reed. ‘We sat around the table,’ said Klain. ‘[Biden] had answers on cards, and he was just extremely exhausted. And I was struck by how out of touch with American politics he was. He was just very, very focused on his interactions with Nato leaders.’”Klain, Whipple writes, “wondered half-seriously if Biden thought he was president of Nato instead of the US. ‘He just became very enraptured with being the head of Nato,’ he said. That wouldn’t help him on Capitol Hill because, as Klain noted, ‘domestic political leaders don’t really care what [Emmanuel] Macron and [Olaf] Scholz think.’”

Days before the Bidens’ appearance, the ladies of The View admitted he needed to step aside.

They did not think Biden could serve another four years.
