The people who were sitting at this table should make this guy famous. He should be made to apologize to them publicly.

‘I F***ING HATE YOU’: Student gov candidate at UNC Asheville destroys pro-life table, yells at pro-lifers
A student government candidate at the University of North Carolina Asheville destroyed a table display of a pro-life group and yelled at the students who were manning it.
Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life of America (SFLA), posted a video of the interaction between the SFLA and the student in question, Adrian Miguelez.
As seen in the video, Miguelez repeatedly says “I f***ing hate you” to the SFLA students, and then violently throws away the group’s table covering, along with all of its pro-life materials.
SFLA Carolinas Regional Coordinator Alicia Foreman related what happened, saying: “He started angrily calling us names from the beginning, and I tried to deescalate him . . . He stated he supports abortion through all nine months for any reason as well. I asked him to leave because he was getting aggressive, and he did leave. He left but came back not even five minutes later, even angrier. He was cussing at us and calling us ‘fascists’ and ‘misogynists,’” as seen from an SFLA blog post.
Miguelez is running to be a sophomore senator at the school’s student government.
He lists his pronouns as “He/Him,” and adds: “Unfortunately, due to compliance with the assaults on diversity and cultural programs by UNCA, an emerging student mental health crisis, and the over-ticketing of students who rely on personal transportation in their everyday lives, there has been profound negligence by the school’s administration in dealing with our very immediate concerns. As someone passionate about true justice within our community, I will fight to right these wrongs.”

he is just what hittlers want
a violent pos willing to do the job
they will only stop when stopped
They need to make him “famous” on campus and off. I know the better part of valor is to allow those with the actual “power” to handle these instances, but I’d just once like to see somebody have to pick up Chiclketts after their encounter with a curb when acting the fool like this.
I don’t think you’re going to have long to wait. And it will be two seconds after that that the people defending their cause of themselves will be the ones in handcuffs.
One solution would be to entice him to an event of some type in the nearest true rural county. Set up a booth with pro life and pro maga materials. Have the sheriff standing by so that when he erupts he can immediately be arrested and transported to the county jail. Make sure it is on a weekend so hopefully he will spend a couple of days in jail. House him with the good old boys locked up for bar room brawling are and make sure they see video of his tough guy tantrums. He may very well need dental work when released on bail.
Can’t control emotions. Check!
Tells women he hates them. Check!
Prescribes women’s abortion views but will never be pregnant. Check!
Demands resources to combat a “mental health crisis” while oblivious to his own. Check!
your 3rd point might be questionable
Those girls should have had a couple men standing next to the table willing to knock teeth out.
I thought women could take care of themselves and don’t need men.
I wonder if “Adrian” is in transition to Adrienne?
By the facial structure and expression I can tell what kind of voice I’d hear.
“an emerging student mental health crisis”
Ah, the dog barks in the night!
The first thing a Northerner notices in North Carolina is that a lot of the locals swim in a shallow genetic pool. There are about a dozen UNC shools and Ashville is probably near the bottom of that list. It is like High School, part 2 for a lot of them.
Please stay away from my state. We don’t need uneducated people like you.
Why is there “student government” at any of these colleges? The purpose of college is to prepare for a career with the minimum required to enter the graduate level on the road to becoming a (usually scientist but also lawyer doctor etc).
Student government really should not be there. College is parody level expensive compared to any prior point in American history, and frankly……I have a very hard time understanding why it is a good idea to have students do these popularity contests.
If you want to be a politician work for a political campaign.
It’s a holdover from high school. They implemented it there to give the students a “voice” in certain things about the school that weren’t driven directly by law or curriculum. And it would allow them to “become leaders” because of it.
Of course, as anyone who ever told a small child “You get to decide what we eat for dinner tonight” and got the response “Ice cream!” knows, it quickly got out of hand. And, instead of the people who are supposedly running the school shutting it down as having entirely missed the point (and generating rabble rousers instead of leaders) they let it continue and grow (like algae in a pond).
And it led to this current college thing where the students presume to tell the college faculty how they should run things. Because they’ve been told from the first time they formed a “student government” that they are special and their youth is not a boundary on their knowledge or wisdom.
Well, that’s fair enough, since the faculty presume to tell the actual directors/governors/regents/whatever how they should run things.
Hey I got elected to student government in college by getting a 100 friends to vote for me. That’s all it took. I ran as a joke with a few others and unfortunately won, I used to go to weekly meetings and order out for beer and pizza. There was a place that would deliver, I was a swing vote between the major powers so I actually had a bit of power. We spent our time mostly allocated funds to student groups who requested them.
I eventually resigned because of insufficient study time. I had physics with weekly tests on Friday, Council meetings with thursday night. Not a good combination for me.
The perp should be punished for his outrageous behavior.
His criminal act appears to be a serious hate crime to me.
First, he admitted on camera what he was doing was a “hate crime” and conservatives on campus should INSIST he be made an example of for that reason.
Second, typical response of a sub-adult who can’t muster reasons to win the argument – just toss everything on the floor. It is a little cathartic, but the feeling doesn’t last long.
Third, it really is awful that the college doesn’t straighten this stuff out. Given what they claim to be inculcating, this is directly counter to that. The response should be something like “Here’s your remedial How To Discuss Things Like An Adult class. Failing this class will result in expulsion, with no refund of the current year’s tuition or room and board. Any scholarships you have might feel otherwise about their funds.”
Yeah, yeah, I know. Most colleges don’t really teach that stuff anymore. Which is why they have lost so much value while going way up in cost.
Yours is a great comment, except for one thing. Please seriously reconsider your support for the concept of “hate crime”. This idea punishes thought, not action. Criminalizing thought should be left to the Communists and other totalitarians.
No, it doesn’t. It punishes action differently depending on the motive behind it, which is exactly what our justice system has always done. Even going back centuries you will find judges treating the same offense differently depending on the motive. Murder for hire was treated more harshly than murder spurred by a sudden fit of jealousy, and that was treated more harshly than a mercy killing, or a murder committed in desperation. And that is all that “hate crime” laws do.
No, he didn’t. “Hate crime” is defined in North Carolina as a crime motivated by bias on the grounds of “race, color, religion, nationality, or country of origin”. Crimes motivated by bias on the grounds of political opinion are not included.
