Tim Walz Thinks He has the ‘Right Skill Set’ to Run for President in 2028

Failed vice president candidate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz might run for president in 2028.
The conversation sparked during The New Yorker Radio Hour with David Remnick:
“Look, I never had an ambition to be President or Vice-President. I was honored to be asked,” he said. “If I feel like I can serve, I will. And if nationally, people are, like, ‘Dude, we tried you, and look how that worked out,’ I’m good with that.”
After circling the question for a bit, I said, “I guess what I’m asking you is: Would you run for President?”
“Well, I had a friend tell me, ‘Never turn down a job you haven’t been offered,’ ” Walz said. “If I think I could offer something . . . I would certainly consider that. I’m also, though, not arrogant enough to believe there’s a lot of people that can do this.” If the circumstances are right, in 2028, and he has the right “skill set” for the moment, Walz said, “I’ll do it.”
“You might do it?” I asked.
“I’ll do whatever it takes. I certainly wouldn’t be arrogant enough to think that it needs to be me,” he said.
“I’ve always said this: I didn’t prepare my life to be in these jobs, but my life prepared me well. And, if this experience I’ve had and what we’re going through right now prepares me for that, then I would. But I worry about people who have ambition for elected office. I don’t think you should have ambition. I think you should have a desire to do it if you’re asked to serve. And that’s kind of where I’m at.”
I call BS. I bet the majority of politicians have ambitions to be president one day.
In February, a person close to Walz told Politico that Walz has been considering running for Sen. Tina Smith’s seat in 2026.
After reading Walz’s interview, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tested the water with Smith’s seat.
I guess he lied to failed Democrat presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris.

Don’t do that to me, I almost spit my coffee on my keyboard. If he really does enter the primaries he will probably get almost no votes other than a few for name recognition.
I think he has all of the qualifications to run as a far Left democrat — males in women’s sports and locker rooms, tampons in males bathrooms, destruction of personal liberties, government oppression of opponents, etc.

Kamala will be remembered as the worst VP in history. She would have lost that “worst” rating if Walz had become VP.
Last week a rep for Walz said he was considering running for governor for the third time instead of going for the Senate seat. The lieutenant governor announced she was running for the seat the same day Smith announced her retirement, and Angie Craig is seriously considering it too. There’s no room for him.
I’m not surprised he’s keeping the door open for 2028; the problem is whether anyone wants him.

I live in Minnesota, and I can verify that Tim Jong Walz is driving Minnesota into the ground. He’s an upjumped nitwit without any class or skill to perform the job he has now. He was mediocre as a congressman at best.

In Minnesota, there isn’t a Democrat party. It’s DFL (Democrat, Farm, Labor). They were quite a bit to the left of the national democrat party when I lived up there. And it seems they still are.
