Former President Joe Biden, 82, and First Lady Jill Biden, 73, want the spotlight again, according to NBC News.
“Who’s going to want Joe Biden back in the game?” a major Biden donor retorted.
Ouch.
Considering Biden is not all there, you must think that Jill and Hunter are pushing Joe.
NBC News reported that Biden and new Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin met where the former president offered his help. Joe (or Jill and Hunter) thinks he could help Democrats regain support and popularity.
Can you imagine how that conversation went? Could Joe string together a three-word sentence?
The offers haven’t gone anywhere even though DNC Vice Chair Jane Kleeb said: “If you were to call any state party chair and ask them if they wanted Joe Biden to be a keynote speaker for their annual dinner, the answer would be yes. He is beloved by the party and beloved by the voters.”
Joe is a laughingstock. No way would anyone want him to perform as a keynote speaker at any event.
The Bidens angered the Democrats when Joe decided to run again in 2024, but the last time I checked, no one stopped him or even tried to help others run against him behind the scenes. He seems to get much blame for VP Kamala Harris’s embarrassing loss in November because she didn’t get much time to form a proper campaign.
Yeah, um, even if Harris had all the time in the world, she would not have won because she’s unlikeable and awkward.
The Bidens have started rebuilding their lives in Delaware. Still, Joe has apparently been traveling back and forth to DC to consult with “former senior administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, national security adviser Jake Sullivan and senior White House advisers Mike Donilon and Steve Ricchetti.”
Jill wants to write a memoir, too.
Is anyone going to read them?
Anyway, I am not shocked Joe and Jill want a place back in the inner circle. They’re professional politicians (yes, even Jill). They cannot function in the private sector. They cannot survive outside of DC after living off power and praise.
