The White House Correspondents’ Association decided not to have comedian Amber Ruffin host the annual dinner on April 26.

I never heard of Ruffin until the WHCA announced her as the host. From Variety:
The journalism group, which has seen its control over interactions with Trump eroded in recent weeks, made the decision after Taylor Budowich, a White House deputy chief of staff, raised comments Ruffin has made in the past that are critical of Trump. Earlier this week, Ruffin told a podcast backed by The Daily Beast that she would not try to make sure her jokes targeted all sides of the political spectrum as the WHCA had requested, and likened the Trump administration to “kind of a bunch of murderers.” Playing to both sides “makes them feel like human beings,” she said, “cause they’re not.”

RUFFIN: I don’t think the people confirm until quite a bit later. I don’t necessarily — like I’m not 100% interested in being like, “ha, you’re here [Trump people], look at your stupid head, you’re burned.” I care, uh, like, you’re kind of a bunch of murderers. [Laughs] I mean, so like, they [the WHCA] were like. You need to be, you know, equal, and make sure that the that you give it to both sides, and blah blah blah. I was like, ‘there’s no way I’m gonna be freaking doing that, dude, under no circumstances.’”
Hollywood is filled with leftists. There is a reason why my late boss Andrew Breitbart said, “Politics is downstream from culture.”
The dinner has always been a love fest with a Democrat president. It turns into an attack fest with a Republican president. Blah blah blah.
The event itself is a farce. The media is supposed to hold these politicians accountable instead of schmoozing with them. It doesn’t help it’s turned into a Hollywood glam fest, too. That means it’s a not a “nerd prom” as the media people coin it.

There aren’t as many high profile ones but talent is there. The follow up talent bashing from the screeching left will be further proof of the real discrimination in the entertainment industry.

The posted video had two interesting items. 1) An admission that during the Biden years, correspondents were limited in remarking on Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and competence. They did not identify exactly who was doing the limiting. And 2) the people on the video were apoplectic at the thought that Greg Gutfeld could win next year’s Mark Twain award.

There is a kind of “humor”, popular amongst the former Soviet Union, now known as Crocodile Humor, named after the defunct Soviet Magazine “Krokodil” where the Soviets made fun of their defeated enemies — basically variants of “Polish Jokes”. That’s the kind of ideological forced “humor” you brainwashed folk mostly enjoy these days.

Since the White House Correspondents Dinner has been taken over by mostly Democrats who already know each other, I don’t really see how this serves a purpose anymore.
The purpose of taking over is to be able to dictate what’s acceptable and what isn’t. Same as the teachers’ unions, universities, HR departments, and perma-bureaucracies. The endgame of the “long walk through the institutions” was for everyone else to have been suffocated away. The means to that end was an ever expanding web of cult-like indoctrination.

It would be interesting to find out who Trump and his team are murdering. One would think a decent reporter would have asked that. Also, maybe take a basic English class to learn how to communicate and speak our language better.

This is usually the position offered before a group starts rounding up the “non-humans” for the camps. Another step along the “conservatives are NAZIs, hit a NAZI” sentiment. I mean, “polar bear hunting” has been a thing for a long while. I wonder if she approves of that?
