‘Pure Propaganda’: Elon Musk Blasts New York Times After Listing DOGE Employees
Weird. The NYT didn’t release the names of those who wrote the article.

The New York Times outed people who work at DOGE.
Elon Musk is not happy.
The New York Times is pure propaganda.
And a bunch of a$$holes. https://t.co/MCYnjaRrcG

Look, I want every single person working or connected to the government to be public.
However, we all know the NYT did this for nefarious reasons. Others have already doxxed those within DOGE, leading to threats on their lives.
The NYT went a step further by marking those who have connections to Musk’s companies.
Because, you know, no one ever brings people connected to their former jobs to their new jobs.
Notice, though, the NYT didn’t list the authors.
I won’t provide details of the people. I hesitated to even link to the piece even though I think DOGE’s employees should be public knowledge.
The NYT keeps calling DOGE an operation, as if it’s some evil rogue government idea. We knew before the election that President Donald Trump would appoint Musk to lead DOGE to cut waste and fraud.
I am just beyond furious. These people are not doing anything wrong. They are digging out fraud and waste in our government, telling us how the government spends our hard earned money.

I don’t see how the authors of this article matter. They would not be under any threats, anyway, because the right doesn’t work as the left does. Of course, that might be part of the problem, given the seriously dangerous nature of the left and its unconstrained efforts to destroy America.
The article is obviously an attempt to intimidate. I would just hope that any information illegally obtained for it is pursued in earnest by the DOJ and that any and all illegal work done by anyone at the New York Slimes is equally pursued and prosecuted. The Slimes has, for far too long, been allowed to get away with straight-up criminality and attacks on America’s security.
I would also hope that all of Carlos Slim’s “businesses” are being investigated. He is dirty as hell.
Where was the NYT on the issue of keeping secret the IDs of certain FBI agents who may have overstepped their authority in pursuit of Trump?
For efficiency, I’ll write “I thought so” here.
That’s a bingo!
Slim has no editorial control. His shares are non-voting.
LOL.
Okay, there. Carlos Slim is just an innocent bystander.
Well … he picked the wrong anti-American newspaper to fill with money and stand by innocently. He should be probed until he squeals.
What’s funny about it? He has non-voting shares in the company. He makes money when the company makes a profit, but he has no say in anything it does.
So on what grounds should he be probed? Just because you don’t like him?! Yeah, you’re exactly the type of tyrant who would do that.
Perhaps the Trump Administration should give some thought to changing SEC rules so that the Sulzberger family cannot maintain perpetual control of this public traded company. I am not sure of the details, but much of the shares do carry little or no voting weight.
Yet another sign they need to double down.
I am under no illusion the left will not resort to increasing levels of violence before this is done.
So why is the NYT covering for?
It should be obvious by now that anything Trump does will be met with total opposition. If he cured cancer, the msm would focus on all of the unemployed oncologists!
Wouldnt they be more worried about those poor Pfizer executives who would have to learn to code?
The NYT trying to take on a guy worth $400b? Big mistake
This is an attempt at intimidation. Pure and simple. Elon is right about the slimes being as$holes. The owners have to classes of stock. A is held by the family and relatives. B is sold to the public with notice that class b stock is only good for dividends.
They are not mad at Trump, Musk or DOGE. They are mad at us for beating their fraud machine and the mandate that comes with the popular vote.
The 2A will be what prevents escalation.
Nothing will prevent escalation. With or without a horsecrap false flag op a la Saint Floyd — it may not be race-related at all, but could be — when the weather warms, expect violence.
Fiery, but mostly peaceful.
The “outing” or “doxing’ of people is beyond despicable by the New York Times as it has no value to the public interest or knowledge,
However, it does seem like the reporters and authors of the piece are listed.
From the archived article near the bottom of the page:
By Sarah Cahalan, Kate Conger, Andrew Duehren, Chris Flavelle, Lisa Friedman, Lazaro Gamio, Jon Huang, Ryan Mac, Zach Montague, Eli Murray, Nicholas Nehamas, Madeleine Ngo, Alan Rappeport, Theodore Schleifer and Aric Toler. Additional production by Amanda Cordero and Jessica White.
All of the above either work for the NYT or are independent contributors to the NYT. (In the archived article, the names are all links.)
There us a lot to criticize, but not listing who wrote the article is not one of those things.
So were the author names added before or after the NYT was criticized for not having them listed? (wouldn’t be the first time the NYT did a little stealth editing when caught)
They were there before. Musk just didn’t notice them.
It is customary for the writers names to be present in the masthead of the article. That didn’t happen here.
Only if it’s the work of one or two people, not when it’s a team effort.
Yes, it did. Musk is simply wrong about this.
“By Sarah Cahalan, Kate Conger, Andrew Duehren, Chris Flavelle, Lisa Friedman, Lazaro Gamio, Jon Huang, Ryan Mac, Zach Montague, Eli Murray, Nicholas Nehamas, Madeleine Ngo, Alan Rappeport, Theodore Schleifer and Aric Toler. Additional production by Amanda Cordero and Jessica White.”
Perhaps posting the names of NYT subscribers would be valuable to some, but only for the good of the country.
The Times hung a target on these people on purpose, so if anyone acts on this by harming any of them then that institution and its owners should incur civil or criminal liability. Imagine what would happen if they published the names of all physicians who perform abortions and then one of them gets assasinated?
Absolutely nothing. It’s protected speech.
