Munich: Afghan Migrant Rams Car Into Left-Wing Trade Union Demonstration, Injures 28
Attacker entered Germany after Merkel opened borders to illegal migrants in 2015.
At least 28 people were injured when an Afghan migrant rammed his car into a crowd of demonstrators in the German city of Munich.
The attack comes as Germany heads for a national election in ten days. The socialist-led coalition government collapsed just hours after President Donald Trump won the U.S. election last November. In the wake of recent terrorist attacks, migration has been catapulted to the top of the agenda ahead of the snap election on February 23, 2025.
The incident occurred while Vice President JD Vance was in the city attending the Munich Security Conference, an annual gathering of policymakers and politicians from around the world.
Attacker, a migrant with known jihadist record
The attacker has been identified as a “24-years old Afghan man,” German weekly Der Spiegel, reported. “According to the Munich city fire department, ten people were seriously injured,” the weekly added.
The attacker was on the radar of the authorities for his Islamic activities and had entered the country after Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the borders to illegal migrants in the autumn of 2015. “The suspect posted Islamist [content on social media] in the past,” Die Tageszeitung newspaper noted. “It is confirmed that he came to Germany in 2016.”
“The police stopped the 24-year-old by shooting at the Mini (Cooper),” BILD newspaper reported. The attacker named “Farhad N. was arrested. Police then took him to a hospital for [medical] examination.”

Germany’s state-run DW TV reported:
Munich police said Thursday afternoon there was no public danger after a car drove into a group of people earlier in the day in the capital city of Germany’s southern state of Bavaria. They said at least 28 people were injured in the incident.
The driver was detained promptly at the scene, police said, later saying that he was a 24-year-old Afghan national asylum seeker.
“The driver of the vehicle was secured on the spot; he currently poses no further danger,” police said. (…)
Broadcaster BR24 said the group reportedly consisted of people carrying out a token strike by the trade union Verdi.
It also quoted eyewitnesses as saying two men had been in the car, with one of them being shot by police and carried away. Police were calling on the public to refrain from speculation, it said.
According to police, the car drove past a police vehicle that was guarding the rear of the trade union’s march in central Munich before plowing into the crowd. They said they fired one shot before detaining the driver. (…)
Hermann also said the man was known to police, having committed shoplifting and drugs offenses in the past.
The trade union Verdi, traditionally aligned with the ruling Social Democratic Party (SPD), has played a leading role in organizing demonstrations against “The Right” across the country, aimed primarily at the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

While the criminal and jihadist migrants are slaughtering people in the streets, Germany’s president has warned his countrymen to beware of ‘Elon Musk’s influence’ after the tech billionaire voiced his support for AfD chancellor candidate Alice Weidel. The AfD is polling at 21 percent, eight points behind the Christian Democratic (CDU) candidate Friedrich Merz, the latest poll numbers show.
According to Die Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, Germany, a country the size of Montana, “recorded 26,000 knife attacks in 2023.”

The fact that this man was from Afghanistan and was a migrant were utterly irrelevant to his evil deed. You’d think that after 1500 +/- years of jihad that this would be obvious by now but apparently not.

Nations importing a group(s) of folks with a culture and value system at odds with the cultural traditions and societal mores of that Nation is proving to be suboptimal at best. Especially so when the imported group(s) refuse assimilation or worse the Nation demands the preexisting Citizens conform to the culture of the imported group(s).

Soon a world wide problem of automobile violence. Prepare to confiscate all cars. What all this shows is a people problem and governments and politicians are unwilling to deal with people violence. So much easier to complain about an inanimate object that has no voice. Well, maybe guns do have a voice in the U.S. But note the levels of knife violence in countries where firearms are highly restricted. Canada, the UK and Japan as examples. Violent people will use whatever tool is handy. Go back in history, Cain slew Abel with a rock! Did they have knives back then?

That is self evidently not true. The public is clearly in danger. “People” keep driving over the public, and stabbing the public. Sounds dangerous to me. It is not even likely that the public is not in danger from that particular “migrant” in the future.

Yeah, this whole ‘Remain calm. All is well!’ mantra doesn’t seem like it is accurate at all. The German establishment is seeking to not just ban but criminalize the AfD political party for pointing out the obvious b/c it demonstrates the foolishness of the establishment policies. The German voters have a last opportunity to turn the ship before it is past.the point of no return. Maybe they take it and maybe the establishment will accept it. I doubt both those occur.

In the 70′ and 80’s the Polizei were ball busters. Any interaction with them resulted in a beat down, especially if you were not a German national. Things changed where they would look the other way for non-heinous crimes. Good to hear one of the guys got shot. Maybe Germany will wake up and deport all the mussies back to where they came from.
