Gavin Newsom Plans a Podcast With Trump Supporters as Guests

Can you get any more cringe?

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has so much time on his hands that he is developing a podcast: “This is Gavin Newsom.”

Even the name shows he’s full of himself. Sheesh.

The dude is totally going to launch a 2028 presidential bid and needs to keep his name in the limelight.

I wonder if Newsom sees the tide turning because he plans on inviting people on the right. From Politico:

Newsom is hardly the first politician to have his own podcast platform. But in an interview with POLITICO Tuesday, he pointed to aspects he believes differentiate it from the typical gabfest: He’s an officeholder booking guests he vehemently disagrees with — occasionally to spar, but with the goal of building out a forum that illuminates their respective positions.

“We already know what our disagreements are with the MAGA movement. I want to understand what the motivations are, the legitimacy of those motivations, and just really understand where people are coming from,” Newsom said. “They are influential — they are. They explain more things in more ways on more days about what’s going on and if we’re not trying to understand their motivations, we will be victims of their motivations.”

Politico described it as a “Bill Maher-inspired program.”

Yeah, Newsom is no Bill Maher. Look at the name of his program. It’s not going to be about different viewpoints.

Gavin Newsom Plans a Podcast With Trump Supporters Concern Trolls as Guests

Cringe indeed. That’s his calling card. The chances this guy wins the DNC nomination are fading with every passing day. At this point, I think it’s more likely AOC wins the nomination than it is he wins the nomination…and I think her chances are slim as well.

The only Democrat who scares me is Josh Shapiro. But, considering where 60% of Democrats are on Israel at the moment, it seems unlikely they’re going to nominate a Jewish man as their presidential nominee. They’re a mess.

Shapiro would have been a much better pick for Harris, but you are right about the left. She picked Walz, a known Jew hater, to shore up the Jew hating left.

Someone should share with Gavin one of LBJ’s best quotes, “You can’t polish a turd”.

Even Newsome might have sense enough to realize that starting a podcast instead of taking care of CalInferno’s problems isn’t a good way to get elected POTUS.

How does a governor have time to run a podcast? More work to that than one might imagine (ask Mr. Rogan).

Don’t worry, Californians will foot the bill for production and Newsom can just show up and asked his prepared questions of a prepared concern troll.

So . . . no one in California is talking about . . .

Wildfires?

State taxes?

Oppressive building codes?

Rampant crime?

Homeless encampments and excrement?

Wow! Wh0dathunkit??

I guess Newsom isn’t busy governing if he has all this time to be a podcaster. I’m sure he’s only going to have the most milquetoast Trump supporters on because he doesn’t want to be humiliated on his own show.

Like a podcast hosted by Ted Bundy with college girls as guests.

He’s always jacked on meds; a walking pharmaceutical dumpster. Uncanny, abnormal, manic tics and fits.

Monday he’s seasawing his shoulders, the next he’s literally eye-blinking 45 times in 60 seconds.

I think Trump should rename the San Andreas fault to Newsom’s Fault.

So the low rent disney villain is once again going to spend a bunch of money that will accomplish nothing, except wasting the money. So basically he is acting just like he does as Governor of Crazyfronia.

This will get less views than olberman or Baldwin podcast

“Trump Supporters as Guests”

“These Trump Supporters are here because of a grant from USAID. Your tax dollars at work.”
