As you may recall, barely a week before election day this fall, Joe Biden referred to Trump supporters as garbage. Trump responded by showing up to a campaign event in Wisconsin driving a Trump-branded garbage truck. It was one of the many viral moments the Trump campaign created on the fly in the final days of the 2024 election.
It is now being reported that this truck will be included in Trump’s inauguration day parade next Monday. This is pure Trump and it’s awesome.

Garbage truck from Trump’s Green Bay stunt to join inaugural paradePresident-elect Trump’s inaugural parade is set to feature a garbage truck from an earlier stunt in Green Bay, Wis., a spokesperson with the president-elect’s inaugural committee confirmed to The Hill on Monday.While in Wisconsin in late October, the president-elect entered a garbage truck themed to his campaign, trying to draw attention to comments from President Biden in which he seemingly called Trump supporters “garbage.”“How do you like my garbage truck? This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” Trump said at the time from the truck’s passenger seat, which featured a Trump campaign sticker and flag.Biden’s seeming comparison of supporters of the president-elect to garbage earlier that week drew heavy criticism from the right only a week before the election, in which Vice President Harris lost against Trump. Harris later distanced herself from Biden’s comments, saying she is “strongly” against “any criticism of people based on who they vote for.”

Next week’s parade, organized by the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee, will take the newly-minted president from the Capitol Building down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.About 7,500 participants representing veterans’ groups, first responders, high school and university marching bands, and equestrian teams are also expected to take part in the parade, which will commence immediately after the noon ceremony for Trump at the Capitol concludes.
