Operation Shock & Awe: Trump’s First Week — Episode 21: Legal Insurrection Podcast
Inauguration, Executive Orders, DEI Crackdown, and Birthright Citizenship

President Trump’s second term is officially underway, and if the first few days are any indication, he’s coming in stronger, more focused, and ready to take action.
One of his most significant moves has been an aggressive stance against DEI initiatives in the federal government. By rolling back Biden’s executive orders and shutting down DEI offices, Trump is taking direct aim at the race-based policies that have infiltrated federal agencies and higher education.
Trump is also making waves in immigration, signing an executive order to end birthright citizenship for children of illegal immigrants.
With significant cabinet confirmations underway, upcoming Senate hearings for RFK Jr., and a media still scrambling to process the new reality, this is shaping to be one of the most consequential presidencies in modern history.

Comments
There are three types of people in this world:
1. those who make things happen
2. those who watch things happen
3. and those who wonder what happened.
1. Trump’s the first type. He’s a get stuff done type of guy. People can attack him, stand in his way, threaten him, call him names and he just keeps on trucking.
2. Biden’s the second type who would stand and watch while a puppeteer pulled his strings. He smiled as he watched his arms move, his mouth move, etc. But he himself did nothing.
3. Kamala Harris is the third type.
Given Speaker Johnson’s comment quoting Biden that he had no clue he had signed an executive order banning LNG exports, Biden gets a “twofer”, number 3 as well.
I don’t think Biden is aware of much that is going on. If so, he’s not doing much thinking or wondering. He’s not all there.
