Israel Intensifies Counter-Terrorism Operations in West Bank Following Recent Attack
Palestinian Authority (PA) admits Hamas using Gaza civilians as “human shields,” working to “reproduce” same terror tactics in the West Bank.
Following a deadly terrorist attack earlier this week, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intensified its counter-terrorism operations in the West Bank.
On Monday, three Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists ambushed several vehicles near the Israeli town of Kedumim, killing two people and injuring several others.
The IDF and Israeli security services are conducting a manhunt for the terrorist gunmen, who reportedly fled to the nearby Palestinian Authority-controlled village of Al-Funduq. “The hunt for the terrorists from the attack in the village of Al-Funduq continues throughout the weekend, the Israeli news website YNET reported. “[T]he IDF intends to increase its activity its intensity.”
On Saturday, Israeli security forces arrested two PIJ operatives plotting another terrorist attack in the West Bank. “Israeli security forces arrested two Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists on Saturday evening who were on their way to carry out a shooting attack in the “immediate future”,” the Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) news agency reported. “Initial questioning by Shin Bet agents indicated that the terrorists left Jenin and were on their way to carry out a shooting attack, the statement noted, adding that their interrogation was “ongoing”.”

YNET detailed the ongoing Israeli counter-terrorism operations in the West Bank:
After the deadly attack last week, in which three people were murdered, the situation assessment in the West Bank has not changed but is definitely at an important milestone. The IDF Central Command is continuing the hunt for the terrorists who carried out the attack, with the understanding being that they came from the northern West Bank.
On Friday, the IDF operated with special units in the heart of the Kabatiya camp. Eight wanted individuals were arrested, and the homes of the three terrorists who carried out the attack in the Al-Funduq were mapped. The terrorists’ time is limited, and the circle around them is tightening. At the same time, and despite the decrease in the number of attacks, the Central Command agrees that the scope of operations must be increased even further, with an emphasis on the northern area of the West Bank.
The Head of Central Command, Major General Avi Bluth, is allowing brigades to operate relatively freely in the West Bank with offensive operations. Security sources explained that a certain change had occurred following the IDF attacks in the Jordan Valley area. The IDF has attacked the area with special forces and the Air Force in operations that lasted for days.

PA admits Hamas using Gaza civilians as “human shields,” working to “reproduce” the same terror tactics in the West Bank
The IDF ramped up its operation as the Palestinian Authority (PA), which controls the West Bank, admitted that Iran-backed terrorist group Hamas was working to turn the area into a second Gaza, The Jerusalem Post reported Sunday:
Fatah, the governing party of the PA, […] condemned Hamas’s use of Gazan civilians “as human shields instead of protecting them and their homes.”
It added that Hamas was responsible for the “catastrophic” humanitarian situation in Gaza, “characterized by the spread of hunger, poverty, and deprivation of basic humanitarian needs.”
“Hamas should not be allowed to reproduce such reckless actions in the West Bank,” it continued.
Fatah also warned of “Iran’s expansionist ambitions to turn Palestine into an area of influence, even at the cost of the blood of Palestinian children.”
While the PA made these damning admissions, it bears a huge responsibility for turning the West Bank into a safe haven for Hamas, PIJ, and other terrorist groups.
Fatah, the party ruling over the West Bank, has been colluding with Hamas to push the so-called ‘Palestinian’ agenda on the world stage. Last July, Fatah, and Hamas signed a China-sponsored ‘unity deal’.
The so-called ‘moderate’ Fatah also does not shy away from directly engaging in terrorism. The Fatah-affiliated Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades terror outfit took part in the October 7 massacre. “The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the military arm of Fatah led by Mahmoud Abbas, confirms that its fighters participated in the brutal attack on Gaza surrounding villages and IDF bases on October 7th and kidnapped ‘many Zionists”,” the Israeli news website Arutz Sheva reported May 2024.

They operate most intensively against old ladies going shopping. They shot one of them by surprise. Specifically, from an ambulance. Bravo, Israeli special forces.
That’s what they & their apologists mean by resistance. Both they & the apologists are equally guilty. Tellwiddem as they say in Lake Wobegone.
