Eagles Fan Loses DEI Consulting Job After Video of Him Insulting Female Packers Fan Goes Viral

“Local media report the Philadelphia Eagles banned their fan from any events at Lincoln Financial Field for life.”

I don’t really follow sports news but even I saw this story everywhere over the last few days.

WBAY News reports:

DEI firm fires Eagles fan who harassed female Packers fan in Philly

A Philadelphia Eagles fan recorded shouting misogynistic slurs at a female Packers fan last Sunday has been fired from his job at a consulting firm focused on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

The Eagles fan, reveling in Philadelphia’s lead over the Packers, started yelling expletives at a couple of Packers fans, calling Alexander Basara’s fiancé an “ugly, dumb (expletive)” and using other slurs.

Basara, an online Packers content creator, recorded the episode and asked his followers on X to help identify the foul-mouthed fan.

“Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy… this is not okay. I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team,” Basara wrote.

WBAY is choosing not to share the video due to its graphic language. The video was viewed over 30 million times by Wednesday afternoon.

More internet sleuthing discovered he was a project manager at BCT Partners, a minority-owned management consulting firm based in New Jersey.

It conducts DEI workplace assessments, evaluates HR policies, and provides DEI leadership training. Clients include the U.S. Department of Labor, Johnson & Johnson and the American Red Cross.

People on X were trying to low key defend him. “That’s how Eagle fans are, getting him fired is too much.”

Nope. Nope. Nope.

Acting like an drunken asshat has consequences. Bring back name and shame, and the behavior will be curtailed.

I’d have knocked his teeth down his throat if he talked to my woman like that. I wouldn’t even care if I was arrested for it.
I might me in jail but he’d be at the dentist
