Suspect in Shooting of Chicago Jewish Man Found Dead in Jail Cell

Sidi Mohamed Abdallahi, a Mauritanian national who allegedly shot a Chicago Jewish man, has died after Cook County sheriff’s office staff found him unresponsive in his jail cell.

The staff tried to revive Abdallahi, and an ambulance took him to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Doctors pronounced Abdallahi dead.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy.
The sheriff’s office said Abdallahi showed no signs of being a suicide risk. Authorities also found no signs of foul play.
Abdallahi allegedly shot a 39-year-old man wearing a kippah in the shoulder in Chicago’s West Rogers Park neighborhood on October 26. The man was walking to the synagogue.
A woman’s security camera caught the gunman screaming, “Allahu Akbar!”
Abdallahi faced one felony count of terrorism and one felony count of a hate crime, along with “six counts of attempted first-degree murder, seven counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm at a police officer or firefighter, and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm.”
Chicago prosecutors said Abdallahi spent days researching synagogues, mapping out addresses of potential targets on his phone.
“This was not anything but a planned attack … an attempted assassination of these people,” stated Assistant State’s Attorney Anne McCord Rodgers. “This was a calculated plan, on a public street… and an attempted slaughter of that person and law enforcement officers.”

The Shin Bet has a long reach.
It would be Mossad, not Shin Bet, which is purely for internal investigations.
But why would Israel want him dead? If anything it would be whoever he worked for, if he was working for someone, which is unlikely.
It may be that some fellow Moslem in prison thought his trial would be damaging to the general Moslem community, and so prevented it from happening.

Not getting into details of my job – but trust me, it is very difficult to hang yourself in jail. Especially, if it’s your first time in custody. Either Cook County staff is totally incompetent, or they are playing Epstein.

Exceptionally high IQ appears to be outlier events, their children usually are much lower IQ, as in close to the average IQ of their ethnic group,
High IQ is as much a curse, as a blessing, suicide is common. Humans generally crave championship, that is rare for people with extremely high IQ.

He shot at and attempted to kill responding officers. It’s Chicago…. no one saw anything. They did the taxpayers a favor. I’m sure the Cook County staff was “busy”.
Nothing of value was lost. If he was ‘Epsteined,’ I suspect he runs with a crowd that didn’t want to be identified…or more ominously, his FBI handlers were in a flop-sweat.

…according to ICE sources. Abdellahi was released into the US a short time later, this in spite of many ‘blinking lights’ about his character. The Center for Immigration Studies has a lengthy article on the incident and the perp on their website.
There is no truth to the rumor that he had information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of Hillary Clinton.
