Mark Halperin: Cover-up of Joe Biden’s Decline ‘One of the Biggest Scandals of Any Sort in American History’

Journalist Mark Halperin appeared on the Jesse Watters show this week and talked about a few Joe Biden related issues. He suggested that because of the Hunter Biden pardon, Joe is going to have trouble raising money for his presidential library.
That is accurate.

The controversial decision, in tandem with Biden’s move to drop out of the 2024 presidential election less than four months before Election Day, has left a sour taste in donor’s mouths, according to a recent Axios report.
As a result, Biden could be facing a financial obstacle in trying to build his presidential library – a historical tradition for presidents once they leave office.

The most interesting part of Halperin’s commentary however, was about the cover-up of Biden’s mental decline, which he calls a major scandal.

WATTERS: Well, why didn’t Chuck Todd say anything when he had a show, Mark? All of a sudden he doesn’t have a show, and Joe lost, and now he’s screaming from the rooftop about this and that. Why do they do that, these people?
HALPERIN: You know, I saw Joe Biden’s mental acuity decline in 2017 and I talked about it on a regular basis. I can’t explain it. It’s some combination of Trump derangement syndrome and not wanting to be ostracized for doing anything that might help Donald Trump win.
And of course, the irony is, the reason Joe Biden is left in the position he’s in, the reason Donald Trump was re-elected, there are plenty of reasons, but a big reason is the silence in the media. I’ve called this before. I think it’s one of the biggest scandals of any sort in American history, and certainly one of the biggest media scandals, because people say, oh, they didn’t see behind-the-scenes.

Next ask Halperin about ballot and election integrity and watch him in full-on denial mode.
Maybe, but Halperin has generally been one of the only reasonable people on the left. You can actually have a conversation and a debate with him. Harold Ford Jr. is another. They are still very wrong on a lot of issues and they do defend some things that are silly, but they are, more than not, reasonable (if incorrect).
There are a couple of democrat pollsters who have always played pretty straight – literally, just a couple, but they are there, like Pat Cadell.
There are so may scandal’s, which is most important, the Biden crime syndicate, the Dem party as a whole, or the group who used Joe Biden as a puppet?
Personally I think that the puppet masters are the biggest scandal. All of those bad players should be brought to justice.
Democrat insiders knew as did the media. Joe’s library would probably contain a few plagerized books and papers plus some fact challenged Cliff’s Notes of things he did like drive a tank across Poland during the Crimean War just in time to rescue Napolean..
His presidential library would consist of hundred of large print note cards that he used to talk to people.
For example instructions for Biden — titled “Offshore Wind Drop-By Sequence of Events” — tell Biden to “enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to participants.”
Then, it says, “YOU take YOUR seat.”
The typed-up note says that after reporters arrive, “YOU give brief comments.”
When reporters depart, “YOU ask Liz Shuler, President, AFL-CIO, a question” and then “YOU thank participants” and “YOU depart.”

It really wasn’t any sort of “cover-up”. We all saw that Traitor Joe was a near vegetable since the few occasions when he would pop up out of his basement during his 2020 “campaign”. We all saw how he could barely operate as a human in public, the few times they let him loose on the world and he ended up shaking hands with invisible people, falling over every hair, and getting lost on stages everywhere. The only times when Traitor Joe was able to seem somewhat coherent was when he was giving his insane Hitler-like diatribes against “Mega-MAGA” people (per Traitor Joe), patriots, and anyone who actually loves America. He was only lucid as a deranged lunatic. I guess that figures.
But there was never any “cover-up”. There was just non-stop bald-faced lying by the democrats and the MSM and all the Left, the likes of which had never been seen in America, really – though we got some serious whiffs of such things during Barky’s illegitimate occupation of the White House, before they installed Traitor Joe to carry on with the Destroy America operation.
And, even after they were all caught red-handed in their lie about Traitor Joe, they went right back to it after a few days, with Komrade Kamala refusing to ever even admit that Traitor Joe is mentally deficient for the whole of her crazy “campaign” – up to the very last day she would not say that she saw any degradation of Traitor Joe’s mental faculties – THE VERY LAST DAY!!!
It wasn’t a cover-up. It was just a narrative for people who tuned in for that narrative. Living in a narrative isn’t being deceived, it’s being entertained.

Old Joe was never the sharpest tool in the shed. More like a dull butterknife. I’m old enough to remember him from over 30 years ago. Dumb as a post. Yikes even a post is more useful as it can hold up a fence. He once referred to FDR’s fireside chats on TV! FDR died in 1945, and TV was experimental until the late 1940s. He was always an ignoramus and a liar.
I don’t expect an American president to be an intellectual. But I do expect him to be at least conscious. No C-Span subscription necessary to see the obvious. All that being said, he will get some kind of library. There is always a sucker somewhere.
On the positive side, the public is coming around. Trust in the media at an all time low. Watch for some major dailies to go out of business. Or they could try telling the truth for a change. They could try decent writing, by avoiding the passive voice and stop publishing mere gossip. RT and Sputnik have better writing. Not that I trust them one wit. How about hiring copy editors instead of sending copy right from the reporters desktop?
Try reading some copy from the 1920s. Amazingly literate. Of course an education meant something in those days. Just the other day I talked to a nurse. A native Texan educated in Texas, and she had never heard of the Manhattan Project.

I worked in Philly in the 1980s-90s. It seemed like nearly every day, the Philadelphia Daily News had a cover story about how Sen. Biden stuck his foot in his mouth or did something publicly that was bone headed.
I smile when I see people talking about how his mental faculties have declined over the past decade – because the bar was set pretty low to begin with!

We really need to look at some way of preventing this again other than expecting a Presidents hand picked cabinet to turn them in. Since 1900 this is the third time a US Presidents health decline was covered up. FDR hid his decline from the people until it was unavoidable and it wasn’t just a physical wheelchair binding health issue there were days on end he was not coherent and his wife and others ran things. Wilson was in office over a year or more after having completely stroked out and becoming basically non functioning just like Joe. When I read these things afte rhigh school when I could actually learn the real truth I was mad and disappointed we don’t learn this in schools so we know what to look for as adults.
