“shall not establish or maintain a central office, policy, procedure, or initiative that promotes DEl ideology”
There were signs that this was coming. Now it has happened and there is a lot here to like.
See the thread from Steve McGuire below:

The DEI resolution says institutions
“shall not use personal identity characteristics in decisions affecting the employment or education of any employee or student.”
“shall not establish or maintain a central office, policy, procedure, or initiative that promotes DEl ideology.”

It also resolves that:
“no student resource or student success center serves students based on DEI ideology.”
“no institution employee or student shall be required to declare gender identity or preferred pronouns in any form of communication.” pic.twitter.com/4X8OuBXF2b

The free expression resolution requires institutions to “maintain political neutrality.”
(Note that they amended the language to use “political neutrality” rather than “institutional neutrality” through out.) pic.twitter.com/M0LudcZepn

Institutions must also:
-Protect free speech and academic freedom.
-Protect the operations and safety of their campuses.
-Establish clear limits and procedures for free expression.
-Introduce diverse views on campus.
-Provide training to new students, faculty, and staff. pic.twitter.com/5p0GQNKJC9
