Daniel Penny Will Attend Army-Navy Game With JD Vance
A jury found Penny not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely.
Vice President-elect JD Vance announced that Daniel Penny will attend the Army-Navy game with him on Saturday.
Daniel’s a good guy, and New York’s mob district attorney tried to ruin his life for having a backbone.
I’m grateful he accepted my invitation and hope he’s able to have fun and appreciate how much his fellow citizens admire his courage. https://t.co/b4bY0G0EM3

A jury found Penny not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely.
The court threw out manslaughter, the significant charge against Penny, when the jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict.
However, it took them no time to reach a not guilty verdict on the second count.

I’ll be there too, we’ve gone every year for almost 20 years since I graduated Annapolis, except for the years I was out of country.
We are so back.
GO ARMY, SINK NAVY!
Logged into downvote you go Navy
I want to see the Marine Corps / Air Force game.
Hah!
No helmets, no pads, no rules.
No. You really don’t.
As a sports official, I was the white hat in an annual flag football tournament at an Air Force Base. The other services were on the base for training.
The Marines v. Army game and the Marines v. Air Force game were particularly brutal. Men were deliberately trying to hurt other players. Punches were thrown, fights were started because of illegal contact, vulgar trash talking, etc.
For the final, every off duty SP was called in to supplement the SP’s assigned to the game.
The SP’s arrested or detained 15 -20 of the players and another 25 or so in the stands.
Our crew was asked to meet the the Colonel in charge of the base. He asked why we had thrown so many flags, ejected so many people and why we had lost control of the game.
We had filmed the game and made a 2 minute tape of the lowlights.
He watched it, then asked “why didn’t you throw more people out and why weren’t the SP’s more proactive?”
They cancelled the tournament the next year.
I have never witnessed such childish, immature, wrongful conduct on a field as that day. (And I have been involved in brawls on courts and fields where the game was stopped.)
The only thing possibly worse were some contests at the “National Law Enforcement Games.”
They were close, but nothing like the games on the base.
What about the Merchant Marine Academy?
Daniel, have a grand time!!!
The Coast Guard Academy rules! The only school that recruited me out of HS for football. I didn’t go but I often wonder how different my life would have been if I did.
