CNN: Kamala Harris Told Team She’s ‘Not Going Quietly Into the Night’
“What she‘s been saying to people over the last couple of weeks, donors, other supporters that she‘s been talking with, is, ‘You haven‘t seen the last of me. I‘m not going quietly into the night.'”
VP Kamala Harris’s team has different ideas for her once she leaves office in January, according to CNN’s Edward-Isaac Dovere.
Half think Harris should run for California governor in 2026. The other half believes she should run for president in 2028.
Oh my goodness. PLEASE run again in 2028. She’ll have to go through the primary:
DOVERE: “What she‘s been saying to people over the last couple of weeks, donors, other supporters that she‘s been talking with, is, ‘You haven‘t seen the last of me. I‘m not going quietly into the night.’ Advisers, people close to her, are debating about what that means. They do not want her final official act ever to be essentially certifying Donald Trump‘s win over her, especially four years after January 6th. And so they look at this governor‘s race in California in 2026, and it seems to them like a layup, essentially, that she would probably clear the field or mostly clear the field, and she would get to be governor of California, which is a pretty good job, right? It was good enough for Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Brown. And but if she does that, that means that she couldn‘t turn around and run for president again in 2028, right? She‘d need to essentially declare right away. And that is what it really comes down to, because there are people close to her who say she didn‘t get a fair shot this year, it wasn‘t up to what she could have done and look how well she performed anyway, she should get to go again in 2028. And then there are ones who say, look, with where things are with the Democratic Party. It she would not have a clear field — a cleared field, rather, in the Democratic primary and could lose the nomination. And to come off of 2024 into that would be really terrible.”
CNN reports Kamala is seriously considering a run for governor of California in 2026 or president in 2028, telling donors: "You haven't seen the last of me. I'm not going quietly into the night."

I think Harris has a shot at winning the governor’s race in 2026.
One person told Dovere: “Running for governor would be a step down, and it would interfere with her ability to run for president again. I don’t know if she’s going to run for president again, but a shot at running for president again is worth giving up running for governor.”
Because Harris’s previous two times to become president ended so well!
Either way, Harris won’t go away. She’s promised those close to her that “you haven’t seen the last of me” and “I’m not going quietly into the night.”
Could you imagine Harris and California Gov. Gavin Newsom running for president in 2028? The primary debates would be AWESOME.

He big problem running for President again is no one is going to give her a nickle. She has always been a little delusional but if she believes that she’s good enough, she’s smart enough and gosh darn it people like her she will soon find out that is not the case.

I’m guessing that 30-40% of the votes she got were not for her, but against Donald Trump. That is based on the existence of “Yellow Dog Democrats” along with the “Blue, no matter who” voters (they may or may not be the same people).
She needs to sit down and come to grips with that.
She shouldn’t her presence is required for joy, to be particular it will be joyous and a true unburdening of what has been if she was to be the Democrat Nominee for 2028 do not let anyone talk you out of hoping she unburdens us from her being the opponent.
Kamala did so well the first two times she ran for President, I can’t imagine why she’d have any problem getting donors for a third shot.
