Report: Kamala Harris’ Campaign Is So Broke She Can No Longer Pay Senior Staffers

“Internally, the apparent cash crunch is being blamed for the campaign’s decision to stop paying many senior staff as of Saturday, even those initially told they would be paid through the end of the year.”

One area of focus in the aftermath of Vice President Kamala Harris’ Election Day defeat to President-Elect Donald Trump has been the Democrat infighting over how the $1 billion Harris raised during her short campaign for president was spent.

She used substantial amounts, seemingly to buy celebrity endorsements, not to mention the $15-20 million spent on the election eve concerts held across the country, all of which has ushered forth a lot of second-guessing and finger-pointing.

The campaign now finds itself some $20 million in debt and has been busy sending daily emails to supporters asking for more money. Notes in the emails claim the money will go to help the Democratic National Committee fund recounts in down-ballot races. Numerous campaign officials, however, have disputed that, according to NBC News, saying “it appeared the requests were meant to pay down debt,” with some calling the move “appalling” and “disgusting”:

Now, less than a week since the vice president conceded the contest, it not only has run out of money, it’s still asking for more. The campaign emails and texts, known for their ubiquity throughout the election, aren’t expected to stop anytime soon.

“Hi Team, It’s Kamala, The election isn’t what we wanted, but I will never give up the fight,” a text message sent Tuesday said. “And right now there are still a number of critical races across the country that are either too close to call, or within the margin of recounts or certain legal challenges.”

[…]

But several campaign officials questioned that contention, saying it appeared the requests were meant to pay down debt. One senior campaign official called the practice of asking supporters for more money after losing decisively and having taken in so much money as “appalling” and another described it as “disgusting.” A third person who was flooded with complaints from donors questioned how Democrats could save their credibility moving forward.

Just days after the election, reports were swirling that some rank-and-file staffers had not received their last two weeks of pay, but that was disputed by at least one:

Though that may be the case with mid-level staffers, senior staffers in the Harris campaign weren’t so lucky as they were informed this past week that there was not enough in the coffers to pay them through the end of the year:

From the story:

Internally, the apparent cash crunch is being blamed for the campaign’s decision to stop paying many senior staff as of Saturday, even those initially told they would be paid through the end of the year. Facing internal frustration, the campaign notified those affected in recent days that their health insurance would be covered through the end of the year, according to one person with direct knowledge of the situation who spoke on condition of anonymity to share internal discussions.

Interestingly, reports of staffers leaking internal discussions to the media come not long after an all-staff call where campaign higher-ups reportedly “pleaded” with staffers not to talk to the press:

In an all-staff call Thursday night, campaign leaders pleaded with staffers to not talk to reporters, according to four people on the call who spoke with Axios.

I don’t know what’s worse: the Kamala Harris campaign’s egregious mismanagement of funds or Kamala Harris herself. Guess it doesn’t matter in the end because ultimately thanks to both of those things they were doomed to fail.

Aren’t her senior staffers paid by the government?

What a maroon. She paid TENS OF MILLIONS for her celebrity ‘endorsements.’

Imagine the damage this flaming idiot would have done to our economy.

Strange how that worked wasn’t it? She had to pay for people to stump for her, and pay handsomely, while the others who were campaigning for Trump did it because they believed the message he was sharing.

Clearly those who supported Harris had to be “encouraged” to support her.

There was enough astroturfing in this campaign to re-sod every sports field in the country.

Probably could have done that for less money, too.

As I said before. Khameleon has to pay her “friends” to support her, pay for buses to bring in “supporters” to her rallies, and buy meals for fake restaurant visits.

She has to wear a pork chop around her neck to get the dog to spend time with her.

Hey, at least they got paid.
The usual next step in governments like Kamala’s is that you do it or get a bullet in your head.

Well, to be honest, Oprah Win Free barely had enough money to keep food on the table and desperately needed the million bucks that she charged Cinder Kum Ella .

She would have done damage for sure but I doubt she signed off on most of the spending. That would be her campaign staff making those calls. Harris probably still thinks all those celebrities showed up because they liked her not because they got paid too. She isn’t Obama. From now on she is going to get very lonely

“I am Kamala Harris and I support this message.”

The buck stops with HER, not with her campaign.

That’s a bullshit dodge. She owns all of it.

Dimsdale in reply to Paul. | November 17, 2024 at 10:16 pm

When you have to buy support, be it from regular people or “celebrities,” is isn’t support.

This is the most appropriate way for her campaign to end.

Maybe they will have a fire sale on merch after KH went down in flames.

      AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to scooterjay. | November 17, 2024 at 3:09 pm

Maybe she can teach her staffers how to give blow jobs at 50 bucks a pop.

Or maybe you can teach your MAGA Matt Geetz groupies to give blow jobs to Matt. He likes the young ones, you know. The minors.

          steves59 in reply to JR. | November 17, 2024 at 5:48 pm

          It’s spelled “Gaetz,” doofus.
You seem to be obsessed with blowjobs and sex with minors.
Why is that, lonejustice? Are you feeling a bit short on opportunities now that your party of blowjobs and sex with minors has been beaten at the polls?
          Quit upvoting yourself.

          AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to JR. | November 17, 2024 at 6:19 pm

I knew JR was close. I could smell his stink a mile away. He smells like prepubescent sex.

Please don’t post your fantasies here about getting a blow job from Kamala.

          steves59 in reply to JR. | November 17, 2024 at 5:49 pm

Not even Doug “Pimp-Hand” Emhoff fantasizes about getting a beej from Kamala, doofus.
The only ones who have that as an active fantasy are Willie Brown and you.

          AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to JR. | November 17, 2024 at 6:20 pm

I wouldn’t let Cumalot SMD with your mother’s mouth.

henrybowman in reply to mailman. | November 17, 2024 at 3:13 pm

So easily solvable. You know who has money? Zelensky. She should hit him up. He owes her big,

    diver64 in reply to mailman. | November 17, 2024 at 3:22 pm

In debt, getting the cold shoulder from Jill, Joe laughing at her, being mocked by everyone on the right and ridiculed by the left? Sounds good to me for the affirmative action VP.

      henrybowman in reply to diver64. | November 17, 2024 at 6:21 pm

You know, that’s a reason for expressly hiring someone black and female that never occurred to me. But authentically Democrat.

One of the Democrat’s principles: When spending other people’s money, who cares?

Is there any way to persuade Kamala to run again in 2028?

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Q. | November 17, 2024 at 3:10 pm

She won’t make it out of the primaries. Just like 2019.

She wouldn’t have made it past 2024 primaries, and needed to knee cap Biden just to be the candidate with ZERO delegates again.

Pelosi etc who booted Biden didn’t want Kamala to be the nominee, they wanted an open convention. Biden endorsing Kamala less than an hour after the “letter” appeared online (which he probably didn’t write) was to sabotage those that stabbed him in the back. Worked too.

There’s no way the DNC isn’t experiencing collateral damage. I wouldn’t want to be a staffer in the DNC’s fundraising department right now, especially in the section that makes phone calls to current and previous donors. I’m sure they’re getting a lot of colorful language thrown their way these days.

so broke she can even pay attention..

It will be interesting to see where she lands. She will not be qualified and make it worse.

Maybe she should start a Go F Me page.

*** GOOD ***

Just another example of the economic Armageddon that awaited us if this jabbering moron should have won.

But Harris could totally fix the economy on day 1, guys.

sounds like those campaign staffers got paid what they were worth. Maybe Cammie can start a OnlyFans account.

maybe Harris cud go back to what she is best at …
Heels up Harris a fitting name

Maybe the creditors could garnish her vice president retirement pay?

Coming to a strip club near you soon. Stormy & Cammie – the ladies Trump Screwed,

So like I have said all along. Even the people who like her don’t like her.

The Democrats nominated a lying spendthrift???? When has that ever happened before?????????

Maybe if she hadn’t been downing a bottle of Bacardi per day and noshing edibles from the nearest dispensary, she wouldn’t have ended up as such an obvious object lesson.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | November 17, 2024 at 8:11 pm

even those initially told they would be paid through the end of the year.

‘We didn’t say which year!’ — Komrade Kamala showing her business and legal geenyosity.

It costs a lot of money to not do anything or go anywhere.

Los Pollos Hermanos

“A third person who was flooded with complaints from donors questioned how Democrats could save their credibility moving forward.”

Moving forward? You mean “turning the page”?

After the big transfers to the Grand Caymans, the accounts were a bit thin….

Why can’t they pay them with the stacks of unused Harris-Walz campaign signs and literature they have lying around? Surely these must have recycling value.

Welcome to the real world libtards. The company goes out of business, you don’t get paid.

Since $20M is less than 2% of her family’s net worth, why don’t they just pay it off and be done with it?

And Kammie wants to manage the US Budget and Economy if elected ? We all dodged a bullet.
