Kamala Harris Advisor: Biden Should Resign, Install Her as First Female President

Kamala Harris Advisor: Biden Should Resign, Install Her as First Female President

“It would absolve her from having to oversee the January 6th transition of her own defeat.”

VP Kamala Harris’s advisor, Jamal Simmons, left a CNN panel speechless.

Simmons suggested President Joe Biden resign so Harris can become the first female president:

SIMMONS: “Joe Biden has been a phenomenal president he’s lived up to so many of the promises made as one promise left that he could fulfill being transitional figure He can resign presidency in next 30 days make Kamala Harris President United States would absolve from having oversee January 6th transition right her own defeat and it will dominate news at point where Democrats have learn drama transparency and doing things that the public want to see is a time this has been moment for change in perspective of how democratic.”

Simmons pointed out that as president, Harris won’t have to certify the election on January 6:

He continued, “It would absolve her from having to oversee the January 6th transition of her own defeat. And it would make sure, it would dominate the news, at a point where Democrats have to learn, drama and transparency and doing things the public want to see. This is the moment for us to change the entire perspective of how Democrats operate.”

Host Dana Bash remarked how Simmons made a meme come to a life. Scott Jennings suggested Simmons was writing a new season of House of Cards.

Bash wanted to know how the move could affect any chance (like Harris has a chnace) of her getting on the Supreme Court:

When Bash asked Simmons about Harris’ chances of being nominated to the Supreme Court, he reiterated his call for Harris as president.

“This is something within Joe Biden‘s control. If he did it, it would, again, fulfill his last promise and give Kamala Harris a chance to be the 47th President of the United States of America. It would disrupt all of Donald Trump‘s paraphernalia, right? He‘d have to rebrand everything. And make it easier for the next woman president not have to hold all that weight of being the first,” Simmons said.

Joe looks happy and normal for the first time in years. And Jill wore red.

I’m still surprised they didn’t do this back in October. She could have been running as the sitting president, presenting lots of fake (to-be-modified next month) economic and crime data as proof she was making things better, and would have spent the last weeks of the election campaign in “Historic Inauguration” mode.

Of course, that assumes Biden wanted her to win…

Biden* was always a vile, spiteful c*nt. Wasn’t going to happen that way, not after she castrated him in the debate over his racism.

They DID have her play pretend President after she was installed as the nominee. They had her give a few quick addresses that the President would normally give and had a couple of “Presidential” visits with foreign leaders, too. There was one or two things she did that Traitor Joe should have done, as the real pretend President, but he was nowhere to be found and everyone was wondering where he was. But she was a joke with all that, wouldn’t do anything but read a 45 second statement, and generally did worse than if she hadn’t shown her face, so they stopped that.

Harris wasted a Billion dollars on her election campaign. If she had just given the money to Joe he would’ve gladly stepped down. But he ain’t gonna do it for free.

Because … a lot of reasons:

    1) Biden needs to pardon Hunter after sentencing in December and he sure as heck wasn’t going to trust that to Harris

    2) Harris needed to project change to Biden and not own the current issues – making her president was a boot anchor (she couldn’t escape it anyway)

    3) No way Jill was giving up the perks

    4) Harris would have to be shown actually running the company and would have been further exposed as the absolute dolt she was.

Given she was picked as a diversity VP – and not qualifications – she was someone that everyone had so little confidence in Biden was sure no one would dare push him out to put her in charge

He doesn’t have to wait till sentencing. He didn’t even have to wait for charges to be brought, let alone a conviction. He could have pardoned Hunter at any time; the only reasons not to were political.

Biden and Kamala hate each other. He was forced out so they could have an open convention, he endorsed her to spite the rest of them.

People seem to forget what happened. They had that “Goodbye cruel world” tweet written for Traitor Joe and they – whoever was talking for the vegetable – said that he fully backed Kamala. But it wasn’t in the original tweet written for him, which people started pointing out, so a half hour later they wrote another tweet – allegedly from Traitor Joe – explicitly backing Kamala. Meanwhile, Traitor Joe was likely asleep the whole time (this was back when he allegedly had caught COVID out of nowhere).

They had to give the nomination to Kamala because it was a question of 90 million or 150 million dollars of funds already there.

And now they are all acting as if Traitor Joe was the one who kicked himself out of the race and chose Kamala. Joe had nothing to do with either thing.

I agree. Give Kamala the reigns and get the checkboxes of Woman President and Black Woman President checked so we can get it out of our (their) system and move on. With any luck we’ll be once and done.

On one hand…. keeping that “POC/Woman(?)” thing for a future nominee would be valuable. We “technically” had a president for a day back in the early 1800’s.

No, we didn’t have a president for a day, even technically.

Taylor’s term started at noon on March 4; no oath is required for someone’s term to start.

But if an oath is required then Atchinson would still not have been acting president, because he hadn’t taken his oath either. He wasn’t President Pro Tem of the senate on March 4; he assumed that office on March 5, when the new senators took their oaths and formally elected him. Taylor took his oath the same day.

Come to think of it, this has possibiliities. It would be delicious for the history books to record the first Woman and Black Woman President as a total failure that never won an election, with the shortest administration on record. That would be something Democrat women and Democrat black women could be proud of forever.

    Bah.

Sure, and then let’s have the House impeach her for her flagrant disregard of our southern border. If you’re going to consign her to the record books, make it count.

I could see Biden doing this only so she could pardon Hunter.

He not only could have done it at any time there is no reason to assume it needs to be publicly known. If you believe in unitary executive power then, like declassification, all Biden needs to do is sign a one page memo pardoning Hunter for all Federal crimes and hand it to him. He can write it in crayon if he wants to.
The role of the DOJ or any other body in pardons is merely advisory. They cannot constrain Biden to ‘follow a process’ in order to make the pardon ‘valid’.

This all reminds me of Barky and his laughable “Office of the President-Elect” seal they had made for him and would religiously paste onto any podium he was reading the teleprompter from. I laugh just thinking about it.

I am actually almost in favor of this.
First I believe she should have 25th Joe due to his obvious dementia issues.
Second getting rid of the First Woman category would remove it as a “reason” to vote for anyone in the future.

Gore oversaw his defeat right? Get over yourselves, crybabies.

If Joe Biden resigned, his legacy would be, not only a one term president, but one that didn’t even finish his term. I’m sure Jill would be thrilled with that—and Kamala would have the last cackle.

Ooh! That’s TWO reasons to do it! TWO black eyes for Democrats in the history books.
So what if Trump has to reprint all his merch? Look at all the money he saved picking Vance — he only had to change two letters on his election signs.

So, in the U.S., an “advisor” to an historically awful presidential campaign can still be invited on to an ostensibly serious tv show about politics?

Does CNN routinely invite a losing Super Bowl coach on to its platform right after a historically awful Super Bowl performance?

It would appear that this Mr. Jamal Simmons came up in an environment in which people were routinely judged not by the content of their character.

Mr. Simmons: Nobody with any character would accept such a proposal.

Mr. Simmons: Nobody with any character would feel flattered to be offered such a proposal.

Mr. Simmons: Nobody with any character would float such a demeaning proposal.

      Can’t be.

12th Amendment – “The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;”

Article 1, Section 3, Clause 3 – “The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.”

A new vice president would need to be selected and confirmed in order to perform the certification. Doing anything else would be unconstitutional which might be the point of this guy’s suggestion. He’s already suggesting he knows Harris needs to preside over the certification of the Electoral College votes. I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume that he knows vacating the VP office less than 60 days before the certification with long stretches of Congressional recesses would throw a huge monkey wrench into certification of the Electoral College and Trump assuming office.

I should say I understand the VP’s office has probably been vacant at the time of certification in the past since before the 25th there was no way to replace a VP who died in office. So likely the President Pro Tempore has presided over some past certifications but if Harris resigned it would present a unique situation where the former VP is still alive and there is a process to replace her.

Nope. “The Senate shall chuse their other Officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the Absence of the Vice President, or when he shall exercise the Office of President of the United States.” So even if the VP is alive and well and simply doesn’t bother showing up, the President Pro Temp acts as president.

Thanks, I shoud have realized that “President of the Senate” was used for a reason.

I still think a lot of the push to get Harris out of the VP slot before 6 January 2025 is to save her from having to preside over whatever antics, or worse, the Democrats plan to pull with the EC certification vote. Having a Republican put the smackdown on them will play well with their rabid base.

That will solve the Emhoff’s problem of finding good domestic help. They will have a 24/7 brigade of secret service agents catering to them for life. Nixon famously eschewed secret service protection and paid one retired New Jersey cop to accompany him when traveling.

Jamal Simmons, this is REAL LIFE, one doesn’t get participation trophies!

Unfortunately, it would seem that for Jamal Simmons, participation trophies and showing-up-on-time-most-of-the-time promotions at school and at work

    IS and HAS BEEN

his real life experience probably for his whole life, since early childhood.

He looks like he grew up in the AffirmativeAction Era.

He speaks like AffirmativeAction is all he knows of real life. And accepts it, like we all accept gravity in real life.

It would be really funny we’re it not so tragic.

He apparently does not realize how preposterous he is.

“Once you become accustomed to preferential treatment, it feels like oppression when you’re treated like everybody else.”

    {The thought occurs to me that perhaps he’s trolling us? But I don’t think so.}

Remember, according to the vile Dhimmi-crats, wretched crone-harlot-dunce, Harris, is most certainly not an “affirmative action”/”DEI” hire. She has achieved all that she has achieved exclusively on merit, being reputed to possess fellating skill that is second to none.

Trump sells a “48” hat to everyone who bought a “47” hat.

Boy… they would really get him this time!!!

“If he did it, it would, again, fulfill his last promise and give Kamala Harris a chance to be the 47th President of the United States of America.”

Pretty sure she *did* have a chance. And lost. Such a weak argument.

Both biden and kamala should resign. Elevate the Speaker of the House as interim president until trump.

In addition to Trump winning, I think we might also consider this the end of both Harris and Walz political careers. The MSM had to go all-in for them and basically everyone lost everything. Walz will now be governing with the fact that all surrounding states think that he is an idjit. Harris climbed the ladder by knowing when to open and close her mouth, and now that cat is out of the bag. No speaking tour for her I’m thinking unless 110% teleprompted, with all questions submitted a few weeks ahead of time (and she’ll still get the answer wrong).
