JD Vance Goes on Joe Rogan Podcast, Describes Wokeness as Religion for the Left

“it’s so similar to the creed you declare every day at a Catholic mass”

J.D. Vance appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast this week, approximately one week after Trump did the same thing. Just to give you an idea of Rogan’s reach, Trump’s interview is now the second-most watched episode of the podcast with over 43 million views on YouTube and Vance’s appearance is already at over 10 million views.

Kamala Harris reportedly agreed to be interviewed by Rogan, but only if he traveled to her and she was only willing to give him an hour. Rogan wisely turned her down.

You can see some clips from Vance’s appearance below. This is one of my favorites, where he describes wokeness as a religion for the left.

Vance also did an excellent job of describing how Harris lies so easily.

From FOX News:

Vance calls Harris the Michael Jordan of word salads, says she lies like his young child

Rogan and Vance were laughing about how Harris “talks in circles” when Vance suggested she says statements about building an opportunity economy like “‘We need to build an opportunity economy because if Americans don’t have opportunity then they’re not going to have the opportunity to be Americans.'” Vance mused, “And it’s like what the hell did you just say?”

Vance later suggested that this, in a way, can be considered a skill for a politician…

Later in the interview, Vance accused Harris of lying, comparing her to his young children.

“My four-year-old and I are making an Oreo cake a few weeks ago. My four-year-old is helping me, he likes to help me out a lot when I bake, and I go to the bathroom and the Oreos that we’re supposed to put in the Oreo cake-like crumble them up and put them in the cake-like half of them are gone when I get back. And I’m like ‘Buddy, what happened to the Oreos?’ and he looks at me, and without a hint of irony or shame he says ‘I didn’t eat the Oreos. You did!'”

“That’s the way that Kamala Harris lies, is, ‘I didn’t eat the Oreos. You did,'” he said.

“Not only does she actively brag and has her administration actively bragged about trying to arrest her political opponents, she will go out and say that if Donald Trump is the president he’s going to arrest his political opponents even though he already was president, and he didn’t do that!”

Here’s the clip:

In this clip, Vance talks about the difference in the way the media covered the Puerto Rico joke at the Madison Square Garden Trump rally vs. Joe Biden’s ‘garbage’ comments about Trump supporters.

The entire episode is over three hours long and I have not yet watched the whole thing, but I will over the course of the weekend. Check it out:

If only our presidential debates could be based on this type of format. An objective host and the candidates sitting down for several hours to cover topics in detail. What we have now is a joke, nothing more than a sound-bite circle-jerk.

I watched the whole thing. They have a good time together. Vance is smart, knowledgeable, likeable and relatable. You can see why Trump picked him over what looked like more obvious choices of Nikki Haley or Marco Rubio. Given that picking the VP candidate is the first major decision that a Presidential candidate makes, Harris looks very bad by comparison.

That said …. Early voting by state – https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-elections/early-vote
In PA, Dems have banked a 400K vote lead, 135K in WI and 85K in MI. By sex, 53% of the votes nationwide are by women and 44% by men. This data does not look promising.

I have a hard cure for wokeism. Declare absolute immunity for any crimes committed during a 48-hour period. That would bury wokeism with a stake through its heart.

I believe Trump will win but if the worst happens and he doesn’t I still think JD Vance has an excellent shot in 2028.

I was worried about Trump’s VP pick because that person would be most likely running in 28. When he choose Vance I wasn’t too happy but after these few months it’s clear that Vance is a damn good pick. Trump hit a home run on this one.

The woke as a religion is a theme Rogan has been hitting on for years; and Vance was great to listen to expounding on this topic. Both Trump and Vance hit home runs here and Rogan is not an easy interviewer. Harris missed out big time not going on his show but I’m certain it’s because she honestly can’t hang with him for 3 hours and keep her fake facade functioning. She would have cracked and gotten nasty and mean in about 30 minutes.

The DC establishment is rightfully frightened by JD Vance and his authentic populist message/outlook.

As an aside Musk is supposedly reaching out to Ron Paul to assist in the mission of reforming/chopping the Federal government down to sjze.

IFFFF THE TRUTH IS TOLD!

It’s a wide ranging superficial conversation where they talk about things ordinary people talk about. He’s ten times more relatable than boors like Charlie Rose.

I just want this cutting through the edits, sound bites and noise. Sit down with someone that will just talk to you over a couple of hours and find out what your like.
JRE is destroying old corporate media. Trump is at 43 million and Vance is nearing 10 million just on YouTube. People just want to hear unfiltered from the horses mouth talk. This is why media constructed consultant driven political hacks like Harris are a dying breed.

“it’s so similar to the creed you declare every day at a Catholic mass”
I can’t decide whether the new analog to “amen” is “stunning and brave,” or “racist nazi!”

I watched Senator Vance on Rogan’s podcast. Didn’t see anything earth shattering either way. He is still a well spoken, quick witted young man.
