A White House official told CNN that the administration believes Iran will soon attack Israel with ballistic missiles.
Another official, don’t know if it’s the same one, told Fox News, “We are actively supporting defensive preparations to defend Israel against this attack. A direct military attack from Iran against Israel will carry severe consequences for Iran.”
IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said “that as of now, no aerial threats have been launched at Israel from Iran.”
The US is prepared to do whatever it can to help Israel intercept anything Iran directs its way, similar to how the US offered its assistance in April, when Iran launched a wave of drones and missiles towards Israel — the vast majority of which were successfully intercepted, a US official said.The scale of the anticipated Iranian attack this time was not immediately clear.
Israel began its ground operation in Lebanon to eliminate the rest of Hezbollah.
The IDF said it has evidence that Hezbollah planned a similar October 7th-style attack against Israel’s northern villages and towns.
