Twenty Wins And Counting – Equal Protection Project 3Q 2024 Impact Report
All in all, not a bad first 19 months. We are focused on expanding our impact even more in 2025.
The Equal Protection Project (EqualProtect.org) launched in February 2023. EPP quickly become a major focus of the Legal Insurrection Foundation.
While readers see some of what we do at EPP through blog posts, it’s important to understand the vast scope of what we do, the impact we already have had, and where we are heading.
Our September 2024 Impact Summaries (full embed at bottom of this post) cover the statistics.
There are various measures of success.
#Winning
We achieved at least 20 ‘wins’ through September 2024, a win being the termination of discriminatory eligibility for a program. That number may be higher than we know, because there often is a lag between a program change and when we find out, plus we achieved an additional win against UW-Madison this month that is not included in the 3Q statistics. Also, we go beyond cases and file Amicus briefs in support of others, and bring demand letters and other challenges, in addition to the major lawsuit we filed against the State of New York earlier this year.
One Of The Leaders of The Pack
We are being recognized as a leader in pushing back against DEI discrimination by even mainstream/legacy media (they don’t like what we do, but they recognize our effectiveness). The ‘wins’ are only part of the story, we have been a major contributor to colleges and universities re-examining their programs preemptively.
Expansive Media Reach
We have enormous (almost unimaginable) reach through our public appearances (TV, radio, podcasts, digital and print, op-eds, etc.), reaching many millions of people a month. This leverages our own website audience many times over and helps us influence the public (resulting in the media recognition above).
I’ve done 225 unique broadcast interviews related to EPP since we launched in February 2023, which resulted in over 545 total broadcast appearances (because some broadcasts run multiple times and on multiple platforms.)
Stepping Up After October 7
The combined resources of EPP, CriticalRace.org, and the main website allowed us to step up after October 7 and drive home that the anti-Israel antisemitic movement is also the anti-American, anti-capitalism, anti-westernism movement. This will be an expanding focus for 2025.
Vision 2025
I said “Vision 2025” not “Project 2025”.
Grow, baby, grow. But thoughtfully and strategically and focused on impact not headcount. We are in the process of expanding legal staff, and also preparing for how the DEI landscape and litigation may change depending on the election outcome. The core principles and fight will remain the same, the battlegrounds may shift.
Wrap Up
All in all, not a bad first 19 months.
Reminder: We are a small organization going up against powerful and wealthy government and private institutions. Donations are greatly needed and appreciated.

Comments
Bravo. I admire EPP’s very impressive win record of doing something vs other’s way of doing nothing.
However, I still think there should be criminal penalties for those people in these institutions who aggressively, egregiously, and repeatedly violate federal Title numbers of the civil rights act.
Long live the King!
Congratulations Professor
I remember back in 2008 when this was just a blog – congratulations on your work to date it’s amazing! I chip in a little each year and encourage others to as well.
Like a Mike Tyson, the Perfessor is delivering one KO after another in the ring against DEI – fairness is making a comeback!!
Drop my ode to EPP by LL Cool J right here:

Don’t call it a comeback, I been here for years
I’m rockin’ my peers, puttin’ suckers in fear
Makin’ the tears rain down like a monsoon
Listen to the bass go boom
Explosions, overpowerin’
Over the competition, I’m towerin’
Wrecking shop, when I drop
These lyrics that’ll make you call the cops
Don’t you dare stare
You better move, don’t ever compare
Me to the rest that’ll all get sliced and diced
Competition’s payin’ the price
I’m gonna knock you out (Huuh)
Mama said knock you out (Huuh)
Yeah, I remember in 2008….. Obama and door number two.
Great job, EPP! A truly needed entity!
EPP is performing some of the most important work in – and for – this country!
I wish I were a millionaire, or at least rich, so I could contribute, heck be a sponsor!
However, ceaseless prayers for your continued success are what I can and do contribute.
God continue to mightily bless you one and all!!
Many sincere thank yous to Prof Jacobson and everyone else involved w EPP.
For anyone who has read down this far in this L.I. Comments section:
Thomas Sowell (2019) DISCRIMINATION AND DISPARITIES is a great read. The audiobook reader is a pleasure. I didn’t want it to end.
