Harris’s Husband Doug Emhoff Accused of Being a ‘Misogynist’ at Law Firm

Harris’s Husband Doug Emhoff Accused of Being a ‘Misogynist’ at Law Firm

“If there was an event, like the Justice Ball, he would favor certain people. Usually it was young, pretty girls.”

The Daily Mail dropped another report with accusations against VP Kamala Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff.

Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Attorneys who worked with Emhoff at the Los Angeles law firm Venable described as a “misogynist” and hired trophy secretaries:

Attorneys who worked with Doug Emhoff at his former firm Venable say he yelled expletives, held a men-only cocktail hour in the office, revoked work perks from women who didn’t flirt with him, and took only young, attractive associates in a limousine to a ball.

A 2019 lawsuit also claimed sex discrimination by other partners in the LA office Emhoff ran, and that while engaged to Harris, he hired an ‘unqualified’ part-time model as a legal secretary ‘because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office’.

Emhoff worked at the law firm from 2006 to 2017.

Emhoff displayed “a**hole” behavior towards females:

One senior former staffer claimed Emhoff ‘bragged’ about yelling ‘get the f*** out of my office’ to a female partner at the firm, later telling his top male colleagues that he had ‘put her in her place’.

‘She had to ask him something,’ the ex-staffer said. ‘His office door was closed. She said to his secretary, ‘is he on the phone?’ She said no. She tapped on the door, he didn’t answer, so she slightly opened the door and stuck her head in.

‘He said “get the f*** out of my office.”

‘What’s worse was he bragged about it to the management at Venable and they were aghast. He’s an a**hole. He told them how he “put her in her place”. A misogynist, that’s who does that.’

Another described Emhoff as “flirty.” If you didn’t flirt back or give him a positive response, you ended up “on his s**t list.

The same lawyer said Emhoff played favorites. If you didn’t flirt with him, then “you wouldn’t get to work on the cases you wanted to work on.”

Another female colleague claimed Emhoff liked “young, pretty girls” at Venable:

A woman who worked under Emhoff as a junior attorney at Venable told DailyMail.com that he favored ‘young, pretty girls’ at the firm.

‘If there was an event, like the Justice Ball, he would favor certain people. Usually it was young, pretty girls. And he would prefer for them to ride with him. He would get a limo,’ she said.

‘I just don’t think his behavior was appropriate for the position he was in.’

One top former Venable staffer told DailyMail.com that ‘plenty of people’ were aware of Emhoff’s alleged inappropriate behavior at the firm.

A 2019 lawsuit accusing Venable of sex discrimination did not name Emhoff as a defendant, but the woman, Marjan Rabbi, mentioned him:

The LA court filing claimed Emhoff was known for having a glamorous secretary in her 20s who was ‘unqualified’ but ‘hired because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office.’

Emhoff was the ‘Partner-in-Charge’ of the LA office when Rabbi joined in 2014.

He married then-California Attorney General Harris in August that year. He was promoted to West Coast Managing Director in 2015.

‘As early as October of 2014, Ms. Rabbi was told by [lawsuit defendant, Venable partner Alex] Weingarten, who yelled at her, that she was “useless to him” and like a “child”,’ Rabbi’s August 2019 complaint said.

‘Finally, he drove her from his desk after deciding that he deserved a young, attractive secretary like his partner Douglas Emhoff had. Her name, Katya, was office code. “Katya” refers to an assistant hired by Douglas Emhoff who was widely considered unqualified and hired because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office,’ Rabbi’s lawsuit said.

One female brought up the men-only drinks nights. Those stopped when a colleague told those in charge at Venable.

The same female claimed Emhoff “forced his colleagues to give him a cut of fees from new clients, using his control over allocating staff to new cases:”

‘If you bring in a client, you get compensated,’ she said.

‘He was in charge of the litigation department, so he staffed your cases. So if you wanted to staff your case, you had to give him part of your origination [bonus], or you didn’t get staffed. It happens in law firms all the time.’

Gee, Emhoff sounds like a swell guy!

Emhoff admitted to an affair during his first marriage with his children’s nanny and teacher.

The Second Gentleman remained silent about allegations the affair resulted in a pregnancy and a child.

Supposedly, the nanny did not keep the child. Hhhmmm…did she have an abortion??

Emhoff denied the second report of him slapping his ex-girlfriend.

“If there was an event, like the Justice Ball, he would favor certain people. Usually it was young, pretty girls.”

This is about the only positive thing I’ve ever heard about this turd.

“The LA court filing claimed Emhoff was known for having a glamorous secretary in her 20s who was ‘unqualified’ but ‘hired because she was young, attractive and friendly with the powerful men in the office.’”

Young, attractive and friendly seems quite qualified to me.

There has never been a man attracted to pretty young ladies in the history of ever. Stop that misogyny.

Well, Trump has been convicted of sexual abuse by a jury, So maybe, just maybe, that is worse than being accused of being a misogynist.

“Convicted” does not mean that he did it. I recall that the “victim” could not even remember the year it occurred. IMO give me a person who cant remember the exact details of a catastrophic event – like the claimed rape – and most often you have a liar. Finally, in those days Trump was as well known and popular in NY City as the Mayor. I have been in those stores. There is no way that Trump would not have had numerous sales people at his beck and call and hovering over him. He would have had no opportunity to do a thing and IMO was “railroaded”.

Missed the point, once again, due to your TDS. Emhoff pretends to be the opposite to mislead women.

Seriously, you seem no different than the talking heads on MSNBC. Probably worse, as you are a pretender like Emhoff.

      You again. “Convicted?”

      No, he was not convicted.

      “Well, Trump yada yada…”
Do you ever tire of being a complete TDS-infected douchebag?
You really are the lamest MF here.
Mods… at what point does this clown earn the coveted blacklist?

No he hasn’t. He has been found guilty by the jury. He has not been officially convicted of anything yet and the judge can dismiss the entire case and null the jury all the way to sentencing.

The biggest libbers always turn out to be the biggest mysoginists.

Sounds like he loves women too much.

Ms. Rabbi was told by [lawsuit defendant, Venable partner Alex] Weingarten, who yelled at her, that she was “useless to him” and like a “child”,’ Rabbi’s August 2019 complaint said.

Was she? It sounds like she probably was.

Emhoff is a turd and a hypocrite but these complaints sound like a lot of BS. Oooh, a poor, widdle girl got yelled at?? The pretty girls are treated better??! Oh noes!!!! Welcome to LIFE.

For the same reason that only Nixon could go to China, only a misogynist could marry Kamala Harris.

What rhymes with “pig at the trough”?
Super dirty Doug Emhoff!!

Considering how women have made the workplace almost impossible for men, I’m willing to give Mr. Emhoff a pass. Go ahead downtick the e. I don’t care. I don’t like the guy either. But I’ve been in an office where you have to walk on eggs around the women and be in fear of your job. If you happen to get caught in a room alone with one. They held your life in their hands.

I can hardly express how little I care about what this man is like privately or publicly.

I know all I need to by the fact he married and remains married to that stupid and annoying woman who is the puppet candidate of the Democrat party.

That he is a slimy person in other aspects of his life would not be surprising, but is irrelevant to whether or not SHE is fit for office.

I really don’t care about a bunch of stuff surfacing from 20yrs ago with anonymous sources claiming whatever no more than I did with Trumps nonsense or Judge Kavanaugh’s stuff. Kamalalaladingdong is such a twit that she is what I am worried about. The 1st Puppy doesn’t register as anything.

So at least there’s one alpha male around.

Young friendly and attractive kind of sounds like the qualifications list I had for a wife. Luckily I managed to find a qualified person with all of that and more.

Why the deafening silence from Andrea Mitchel and feminists??

Nietzsche is claimed to be a misogynist too when all he mocked was the conventional idiotic form of feminism. You can’t tell anything from the charge, in other words.
